I switched from iOS 2 years ago, the HTC One M7 and M8 made me do it.
Android is the biggest piece of shit. The file manager and not being tied to iTunes is the only reason I'm stuck to it.
Google is a terrible company, android is built to mine data, the battery drainers on standby are google services, which doze cannot turn off.

For example popular games like Clash of Clans use Google Games for saving. Meaning you cannot play without having Google games installed. Google Games relies on GPlay services
