Who's preordering an Apple Watch 2 tonight?

Second for wearing divers on rainy days.

Bring the hate.

It's a nice watch. Would personally go for the no-date sub as it's a bit cleaner.

i cant fucking hate a watch like that no matter how much i want to

the weather's p nice here atm

wednesday frog day btw

man werent you looking at an oak jumbo?
so much nicer watch imho

How do I open this. The only other watch Ive had had buttons on it
pls no bully
Is it enough to service my watches every ten years, if I have a few in rotation?

lel

Going real fn NATO today.

>recently found /wt/
>lurk
>lurk for about 2 weeks now

after many comparisons and window shopping, I've realized its better to shell out the fund on a small amount of quality watches($50 to $500 each), than it is to buy a million cheap watches

many of you guys have all failed at your hobby

On the contrary I'm actually making a conscious effort to buy all the cheap watches.

that does look fun to be honest.

should i just kms now?

>quality watches($50 to $500 each)

Price and quality are correlated, but not equivalent. Regardless of price, buy tasteful watches and don't buy shitters.

fuck off archie
nobody likes you

HAHAHA
NO ONE, EVER

First for shitty tablet camera

Wew t b h
Preddy gud watch, orient bambino v2

how much was that slut

also what model

$151 with shipping, It's the new Vostok Neptune SE 960726.

if only that had proper lugs

Yeah, I plan on transplanting it to a 710 case one day. The stock bracelet is not bad tho.

bought my first nice watch, very hype

nice face, IMO would look nice on a simple leather strap

The royal oak 15202st is coming in next month. Had to special order it. This giant watch was to balance out the collection since the slim is so small.

bought this yesterday, pretty hyped

I agree but I dress preppy so I can wear this often without it being too classy, whereas plain face black on black is way too formal for that.

senpai pls
the jumbo really isnt that small

Get a red leather strap, and you'll be preppy af.

Are non-battery watches a meme?
Really like the open look of them

>that damaged dial, just below the brand's name
awful, seriously

You should buy a mechanic (non-battery) watch, but not a steaming piece of shit like that.

Already fell for the android wear meme

how much did you pay for an led display watch

200, was mispriced at best buy

Most frustrating part of it is no decent watchface editors

>200, was mispriced at best buy
yeah by about 200 lel

christ that thing barely fits your wrist

why do people buy watches too big for their wrists

lmao

you guys know anything like the bambino but in 36mm or 38mm, and with a clean dial? (no date counter)

Basically a shitton of vintage.

I'm stuck between Galaxy Gear 2 and Pebble Time 2.

Help me Sup Forums

Easy.
Ditch those pieces of shit and buy a real watch.
Smartwatches are for cucks

"Non-battery" watches are not a meme in any way. Mechanical watches are basically the only thing any serious collector will have. It's a sign of engineering perfection. Cheap quartz watches are easy to manufacture. Also, mechanical watches normally don't have an open face like that, although some will have a display-case back so that you can see what's going on.

I... kinda like your slav faggotry.
Well done nigger.

Come back when they make a "mechanical" smart watch.

Stupid idiot detected.

Mechanicals watches can be a real work of art user. Quartz is for kids.

Faggot I just said I liked your vintage shit.
What else do you want?

You are the stupid idiot.

Don't dis slavshit, buddy. Poljot was comparable to Swiss upper-midrange at the time.

>Poljot was comparable to Swiss upper-midrange at the time.
Now let's not take things out of proportion.
The slav part was a joke btw.

Your collection is in nice condition senpai.

This was meant for you.

>Your collection is in nice condition senpai.
Thanks. Write me an email, ok? My address is in the corner of the pic.

I'm not into dudes senpai. Sorry

I'd like to get a nice mechanical but it's out of my budget as a college kid.

Smart watch would be a good placeholder till then and I'd get good use out of it.

Pebble looks good but idk about it not having WiFi...

why would you want wifi for a watch
its supposed to tell time
if it tells time youre good

Smart watches will make NFC payment more popular. Which is pretty dope. I was okay with the slide cards but now the chips are annoying.

Apple is now the #2 watch company by revenue, behind only Rolex. Someone stop this ride, I want to get off.

Buy a Seiko SARB or a used Citizen caliber 5700

Seriously. DON'T buy a smartwatch that is going to be obsolete in a year

>Seiko getting its ass kicked by Citizen
Somehow this irritates me more...

That sales raking looks iffy

But the iDrones won't notice

>Swatch and suspiciously out of the list
>Seiko, Citizen and Casio suspiciously low

Steve Jobs's ghost, please

The minute people buy their third iShit because second is again obsolete, they'll turn and look to the guy with a Rolex, Omega, Seiko, Tissot etc... and realize how much heve they fucked up

>Rolex and other brands there hold their value
>The apple watch holds some dank memes and your time schedule

Appleshill, please

Where'd you order it from? I'm looking but everywhere that sells those seems to be out of stock

These are probably "pulled out of my ass" statistics, but if you count movements only Miyota beats anything else by far.

>50m WR rated

>lung sensor
>GPS
How can Rolex even compete?

>not being made of plastic shit
There

Apple watch come in Aluminum, Ceramic and Stainless as well as precious metals.

m WR rated
>>depth sensor that interacts with your Mac/iPhone/iPad

That depth resistance is like next to nothing.
So your sensor will actually inform you that you have fucked up and warranty is no longer valid

KEK

Hey this apple watch actually looks decent finally

He's literally suggesting a week of battery life is better than perpetual.

Never respond to macfaggots.

The insides are still made of plastic shit

Your point is mute m8

>How can Rolex even compete?
Let's see which device still works after 50 years

>>date complications
>>almost a week of battery life with regular use
>"DATE COMPLICATIONS"
>"COMPLICATIONS"

The iShit needs to be of second generation to have something mechanical watches have had for over a century

DOUBLE SUPER KEK

I like the designs of Smartwatches tho. At least they all last about a week off 1 charge.

...

Obviously not the Rolex without maintenance.

>not the Rolex without maintenance
Half the surviving Rolex from WWII had never been serviced and still work.

Collectors actually fight for the non serviced.

Accept it faggot. No iShit can compare or compete with a well made mechanical watch.

Right this is why Rolex never recommended a $1000 maintenance every 3 years.

Not realizing business are still jew driven

Seriously, I can't laugh at you anymore my sides are kill

but user those are the cheap watches

Bud, it's OK. You don't have to be this way. Next time they call, just tell them you're done. Simple like that. You're better than this. Get out there and get your dream job, don't waste your life for 0.05$.
I believe in you!

that can't be in volume of sales... I sincerely doubt there are more pateks sold than casios

they said it was by revenue

>pull numbers out of arse
>market icrap as a rolex with pokemon notifications
>?????
>Profit

Devilish

Hey how much does your gain/lose per day? On wrist and off? Mine loses maybe 4 secs per day off wrist, but oh man does it lose like 20 secs when worn. And I had it serviced properly some three weeks ago so its more to the watch than a grimy movement.

>tfw you can't afford this

;_;

would someone lend me 2.6 million please ?

nor this ;_;

95.000 $

Just buy an amfibia.

I know the Speedy Professional is seriously overmemed, but is it actually the only current production Omega worth getting?

>date complication
>complication
Hey guys, the apple watch is a 57260 for a fraction of the price!

how does one tell when a watch is too big

It's the best watch and not overmemed. The moonwatch (3570.50.00) is the safest bet overall.

The cal 8500 watches have a nice "in-house" movement and should be considered

The Seamaster 300 MC is new, but really cool, as are the PO watches.

The rule of thumb is that the lugs shouldn't stick out over your wrist.

It gets a bit trickier with nonstandard lugs and whatnot, and some watches are made to just be fuckhuge, so in the end you just have to trust your gut.

You'd also have to pass an interview. Just having the money is not enough

>Here's a list of companies by revenue
>In no particular order

Nice sales presentation, user.

No affiliation with the brand, but have owned omegas for 15 years

It shows.

i haven't had a watch since I was a kid :^)

the pictures don't actually give the terror watch enough credit, it is actually kind of neat looking in person.

>Apple Watch 2 os waterproof up to 50meters.

I....I..I may fall for the smart watch meme guys.

How autistic would it be to have a smart watch in one wrist and a mechanical master race in the other?
