Will Intel ever make an i9?
Will Intel ever make an i9?
Why stop there? Why not an i11?
It'll be after the Intel core iPhone
Yes. It's gonna have a 1% improvement upon the i8, which has a 1% improvement upon the i7, which has a 1% improvement upon the i6, which has a 1% improvement upon i5, and so forth.
My estimates are that it will be worth the financial investment to buy an Intel CPU in approximately 90 years.
dumb sakuraposter
why are there no i4's or i6's?
...
SOMEBODY ANSWER THIS
REEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
What about i1 and i2?
The 9 in i9 doesnt stand for the core count. An i9 would be 6 cores, ie what is currently known as i7 extreme
>newfag speaks
make that an i13
Ask their lolmarketing department.
Why not i1?
No they rather start making a new name for their CPU series.
>i9
3 + 2 = 5
5 + 2 = 7
5 + 3 = 9
Wouldn't make sense to ditch the equal steps.
Fuck, I meant
7 + 3 = 9. Not 5.
what the fuck
No because 7 ate 9.
11 is the next prime number and 9 is the next odd number. They should try 80786.
>why are there no i4's or i6's?
The number 4 means bad luck in some (Asian) countries.
It already existe.
>Back in 2010 or so one guy from my class kept bragging his pc had an 8 core i9, 32gb of ram and a 16gb geforce 99000gt or some model name like this, I don't remember that well
>Oh and a 1Gb internet connection
Yeah that's why there is no PlayStation 4 or Samsung Note 4.0 or Xperia Z4.
Because number 4 means bad luck in some (Asia) countries.
>not 9-year warranty
you had one job
holy fuuuuuUUuuuuuUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK
>i8
there were rumours back before the i7-980X got released that intel would name it i9
Seven ate nine.
Because it sounds too much like 9/11
