This is what all computers would have looked like if PC producers did their own innovation instead of just copying Apple

>This is what all computers would have looked like if PC producers did their own innovation instead of just copying Apple

Can you look at this abomination and say that you still hate Apple?

Is that a big fucking sticker above the keyboard? What the fuck?

>getting cucked by the gaming laptop meme
>ever

expedite yourself

lmao I want one so bad

I love gaudy shit like this. I wouldn't pay the big bux for it though

>chicklet numpad

literally why

>it lookth fabulouth

That thing is an abomination.

I wish someone would just throw all that hardware inside a thicc thinkpad and call it a day.

is that a fucking mechanical keyboard on a laptop? my dick is so hard right now, i don't care that it looks like garbage

> Can't differentiate from Desktop Replacement with other types of laptops.

cause it flips over to become a touchpad
that's literally why

>implying that isn't an apple ripoff

I would need to go to the gym 10 years before being able to carry this "laptop" around.

Literally what 14 years old edge lord would like.

I want one

that's ugly

are you that fucking weak, lamo kekson

>Implying Apple invented unibody laptops and Thin laptops
>Implying Apple invented anything.

This Sony Vaio looks super-ultra-hyper ugly.

Looks cool

Nice tactile keyboard

Do you even into aesthetics?

Reminder that applel also invented smartphones and homescreens.

I don't hate Apple at all. They are 'meh' tier at best. I simply don't care about them as they are irrelevant.
Only thing that sometimes makes me care about Apple is being mesmerised about the fanboyism from media and people alike.
Bet you if Apple made a laptop with a clitmouse people would praise Apple for 'innuhvashion' and accuse Lenovo (read: IBM) of copying them...
Apple: meh-tier products with an excellent marketing-department.

>still not understanding that doing something first doesn't matter,
>but doing something right does

laptop with 21:9 aspectratio would be awesome... i would buy that over apple anyday

Apple hasn't done anything right either.

>comparing a facebook con-puter to a behemoth of a rig

I don't know, what if Apple didn't suck dicks?

Except the X505 is carbon fiber and looks totally different and the TiBook wasn't unibody

I would unironcally use that.

Can't wait until some idiot on ebay buys my used gaymer laptop and I can use the money to be a real PC. what a waste of money.

>those fucking bezels

Bro . . . . .

>that nipple mouse and those buttons beneath it

Literally porn, why don't they make these anymore?

that monitor looks so cheap and out of place

shame really, I like the over the top design

Wheres the mouse? Don't tell me I have to choose between the numpad or touchpad .... cause that totally defeats purpose of the fucking numpad altogether.

>Start conversaton about Dell Precision being a ripoff of Apple Powerbook.
>End conversaton about how innovation doesn't matter.

Except you Ishills are creating a retarded topic about how PC designs would stagnate without Apple design.

Dell Precisions isn't based off of Apple Powerbooks.

If you think Apple is a company about marketing you're completely missing the point.
Apple is a design company first and foremost.

Take the unibody case of the MBP back when it was released.
Sure, the chinks have nearly caught up 8 years later, but back then it was borderline autistic dedication to industrial design.
Nothing came even close to it.
With the MBA, they just went ahead and forced Intel to create the Ultrabook specifications and were chased by every single computer manufacturer for years.
See: just about every copycat laptop design since then

It's easy to dismiss Apple as marketing bling bling (which they also have), but if you have any appreciation for design you'll see how they at least used to be streets ahead.

>2004

Look at this macbook ripoff.

> original laptop design looking like shit

W-well, at least they didn't copy Apple, that's all that matters r-right?

>looking like shit
Check your eyes, retard.

>those random ass lines all over the back
>thicker than oatmeal

Why wouldn't you fucking choose a picture of the Dell XPS line instead you tasteless pleb?

That's probably one of the best looking pieces of tech. Aside from the OS I see nothing wrong with it.

...

Is that black box part of the laptop?

But he's right you illiterate dog shit. Dells were always disgusting.
ThinkPads >>>>>>> Latitudes >>>> Precisions

But muh elitebooks

If it was 16:10 i would get it.
The only thing that makes it useless is no vertical screenspace.

It's fucking dog shit, especially this retarded keyboard and unusable trackpoint.

Do you know the name of this beautiful machine?

I believe it's a vaio p
Drivers really suck for it and it's basically an old atom netbook
Have you ever used HP elitebooks or just their usual trash?

Yes it collects the molten components.

Nice gaming food.

Faggot.

I want a USB grill now.

I owned couple of pro books and elite books. I know what I'm talking about.
Go get some boipucci, faggot

>it's another contrarian jerk-off that doesn't even get it right
Mitsubishi/HP had both of them beat to the thin meme years earlier with the Pedion/OmniBook Sojourn in '98

But like the VAIO X (and unlike the MBA) it had fuck all impact on the industry no matter how loudly you squawk about it, because being there first doesn't make it good.

good thing the newton wasn't a thing for three years already by the time the first pilots started coming out, right?

Looking at this makes me angry
>laptop
>curved screen
>large mechanical keyboard
>sli 1080
>will cost more than its desktop equivalent

>implying you wouldn't love to own one

If I did I would sell it and build a desktop

>cpu grill heatsink when
might as well cook on it right?

lmao why? it's amazing in its awfulness and a competent machine

You would have something that literally 99.99% of people will never own

It may even be worth more somewhere down the line to some insane hobbyist collector

My only issue with using it would be pic related

Look at all these fans. I bet it sounds like a jet engine.

> You would have something that literally 99.99% of people will never own
All the more reason for me to sell it at an insane price b4 people realise how stupid it is and build a desktop 99.99% of people will never own
If I wanted a laptop to game on I would just get one with a AMD a10 APU

yes, and here it's how it went down

>fuck the palm rest, apple invented that, let's put the keyboard where the palm rest should be
>excellent idea, we'll put a dragoon sticker where keyboard should be
>awesome innovation
>buy where2put track pad?
>let's innovate and put it behind the num pad
>awesome

I don't even play games anymore. I just want it because of the ridiculousness of it.

Also I don't think we can call this a laptop. More like an "more easily portable computer" or something because nobody is lugging that around in a backpack.

I dunno, man. How do you not see the beauty or owning something so ridiculous?

I want one so badly

>let's limit function because of gay aesthetics

can an apple minibook aluminum pro play games at 120 fps?

no?

then shut up

>thinking all computers would turn out like a portable desktop replacement gaming system

I've heard some pretty stupid shit on Sup Forums but this one is definitely up there. And yes, I still hate Apple. They're still absolute shit, and nothing about any of my machines tries to look or behave like an Apple product

I'm not a nerd like you.

Yes. Cherry mx switches, 2 desktop 1070s, curved display,. It's meant as a desktop replacement AIO machine that can be used as a laptop or just folds up quickly for taking to LAN parties. The curved display is 1080p though so it's pretty obvious they expect you to put an external display next to it on a desk

I feel like HP fought the good fight with these... but they somehow fell short of the Dell ones, and at times, short of ThinkPads.

They just weren't... comfy. My Dell is pretty comfy, and my ThinkPad was pretty comfy... but the EliteBooks I've used weren't as much. Not sure why.

Out of the two of us I'm probably the one with the biggest biceps I won't STAND for this nerd chat !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
