Looks like its time to go back to installing drivers the old fashioned way
NVIDIA GeForce Experience requires an account to use now
You don't want your settings backed up to The Cloud?
What can I use instead of ShadowPlay now? The replay feature was the only good thing about this pile of shit
>using it in the first place
new (beta 14) msi afterburner can use same method to record videos. no gfe installation needed
OBS supports nvenc
>Remember your preferences
Nigga, can't you read? It's just a feature for keeping the preferences for when you format your PC, uninstall the drivers or something like that.
That screen's only showing off the new features
You still require an account to install drivers/use ShadowPlay/etc.
thanks I just updated it and now I'm going to uninstall it
back to installing drivers the old way, yes
when do I get to beat up the people making all of these stupid fucking shit decisions? Sign in with facebook?
ugh more fucking accounts, im having to forget password option every time i use something once a year and these once a year login prompts are fucking everywhere
Trying to force "convenience" with easy google and facebook so they can know every little detail. Sick of it.
don't use it
It took Nvidia 12 hours to send me a verification email. In that time I found a quick solution which was to roll back to the previous version.
>mfw this happened 1 week after upgrading my 7950 to a 1070
Nvidia. The way your meant to be played.
>log in with Nvidia
Well, there's our proof against religion. God is indeed dead and/or nonexistent. We should get this to the press immediately.
>you're
I'm tired.
Sorry, what's nvenc? My main concern is finding an alternative to ShadowPlay that takes advantage of the inbuilt "capture card" of the GPU (minimal performance loss).
This is only a problem if you're a Sup Forumstard.
>require an account to install drivers
This is a meme.
>having this bloatware installed in the first place
>using GeForce Experience ever
>when do I get to beat up the people making all of these stupid fucking shit decisions?
When marketing managers are thrown out onto the streets because the bubble popped.
>using a proprietary piece of software on Windows that is built for recording and uploading data to Amazon or Google subsidiaries
>worried about Google taking your info because of a log in
wow
