Underrated apple product. It just works.
Underrated apple product. It just works
I want to slice that like a deli loaf
Would eat it. Looks delicious
>family buys airport express
>well ok it's just a router
>can't modify its settings from my browser
>I have to install proprietary software to do so
>even after installing the proprietary software, whenever I need to reboot the router I have to do so manually as the software has no reboot button
Can't speak for the airport extreme but I'm quite underwhelmed with the express
>It just works
so does my shitty Technicolor cable router
>this thing from Apple is good
>WHO CARES MY PIECE OF SHIT KNOCKOFF WORKS TOO
This board is embarrassing
But on the right OS it's already pre-installed?
That is incorrect because it's not preinstalled on any version of Windows
>windows
maxium kek
>this piece of shit that came free with your internet service does the job just fine
>BUT I'M BETTER BECAUSE I BOUGHT $200 ROUNDED EDGE VERSION FROM EXPENSIVE MANUFACTURER
You are embarrassing
1) There is no right OS
2) It's still proprietary software that may be spying on my internet and giving that information to apple without my consent
Compare the stats and features of the two. There's a reason one is free and one is a premium product you fucking jackass.
>derr my free one gets the job done
So it meets your low standards and needs. Congrats
>knockoff
>the apple one is actually the knockoff
b8?
I have a job. What would be the point in an Apple system if I'm just going to install MS Office and Skype on it? It's better to get an OS that's actually designed for work.
>There's a reason one is free and one is a premium product you fucking jackass.
The reason being that Apple products are overpriced?
>router with zero (0) ethernet ports
>$200
But Sup Forums told me windows is the OS for playing?
>The reason being that Apple products are overpriced?
this isn't an argument idiot
Video games are a bonus, because fun should be reserved for valuable people.
Apple ask for your consent though.

Extreme is good but I really liked my TimeCapsule for that hassle free backing up.
Sure it isn't.
Having used a MBP for 4 years I can't imagine any sort of apple wireless solution is great at supporting a range of devices.
Fucking MBP is such a picky bitch about connecting to some WiFi networks.
And respectively, when it fails, it just doesn't work.
The $200 one has four gigabit ports
My 25$ router also just werks, has 4 gigabit ports, 2 usb, and runs tomato
The fact you can't access the config from a browser is enough for me to discard it. My company sends these and Express points out on site jobs for generic temporary routing and as an AP for wireless device control for some of our equipment and I have so many issues with them I just carry my own Ubiquiti setup.
Netatalk just werks after initial config, which is easy as shit.
