First for JUST

redpill me on the note 7

Huawei P9/V8: Are there any flaws? Is it a bloated vanilla Android setup, or some kinda custom fuckery? Can I root and get Xposed/GravityBox/Titanium Backup?

tell me about compact phones /spg/

the new nexus phones seem to be too fucking big with those htc bezels.

Boom

1000 dollar pocketgrenade that comes with the pin pulled

Z3C is still the best compact phone

Is Motorola still being shit and not updating their phones very long? I want an X or Z Force, but not if I won't get security updates.

Underrated

youtube.com/watch?v=62IKU1ldTos

EMUI is heavily customized ugly skin.

Whats the go-to affordable chinkshit phone as of now? Anything worthwhile released since the sticky update that I should know about?

(I literally know nothing about smartphones desu, talk to me like Im an idiot)

How much do you wanna spend what are your focal points where are you from?

RN3P.

...

Ew. I mean, it's actually pretty good looking, and seems rather functional, I just hate when manufacturers reinvent the wheel. Has the manufacturer UI EVER convinced someone to buy a phone? Just sell us hardware that runs Android. But if that's the only downside, I can deal. Better a usable phone with a non-stock UI than an unusable non-rootable phone.

>How much do you wanna spend
no more than £200 or so, probably around £100-£150?

>what are your focal points
battery life, speed, maybe a camera if any of them are worth it

>from
UK

thanks lads

Is the Nexus 5 still a good buy? Anything that isn't pure android is repulsive.

Then this but the camera is dogshit.

>Reposting from previous thread
I want Nexus 6P because Nexus
I want Axon 7 because muh DAC for music
How bad is ZTE software-wise? Not planning on rooting

I asked but
What are some apps you'd guys recommend me? I'm getting a new One Plus Three and need app suggestions for things like
>browser
>music player
>torrent client
And any other suggestion you guys got.

Is there a single good screen protector for the HTC10?

>2.5D glass meme

Firefox with ublock
Blackplayer
Ttorrent

Best things to do when you first get an android phone? best apps, launchers, etc? coming from iphone for the last 2.5+ years

You should have chosen a phone with a decent launcher. Everything is good except samshit btw.

i got a moto x pure 32gb
got it one day before they went on sale, so i'm currently trying to get that 50 bucks refunded

things fucking huge, coming from a 5s
and thanks for the graphic btw

Debloater program, especially if your phone cannot be rooted at all

If rootable, adaway to block ads and save data
I'd only replace the launcher if you feel the need to, especially on a samsung phone

Thing is pretty much stock android I wouldn't torture it with a launcher. Shit will make it lag after a while. (the more apps installed/running - the more it will slow down obviously)

how old is this?

Is there a GSM phone with USB-C, Qi, AND an unlocked/unlockable bootloader?

I'm currently on a Nexus 5, but am ready to get off the micro-B plan.

>Want the phone to be new so I'll keep getting Android updates from Verizon (My current phone hasn't updated since 2014, it's stuck on KitKat)
>A good camera is a must
>Would like the phone to be snappy, no lag
Any recommendations?

How exactly is this airplane situation going to work out with the 7? Even if Samsung recalls and rereleases a model that doesnt explode, how will airlines be able to distinguish it and the exploding version?

>ordered kate rn3p
>arrived in a week
>sold it
>ordered kenzo rn3p
>still processing
should I just buy from a third seller?
I would like to text some hoes

new nexus

Well, AOKP had been dead since KitKat...

>nexus
>verizon

Was planning to get some sort of discount with a Verizon contract since my budget is around $250, and Verizon doesn't offer that with Nexuses.

Need help from some fellow mexicans: What's the best phone I can get with Telcel without paying a lot of monthly extra cash? They offer me the LG X series, and the X Cam looks nice, but what would you guys recommend?

Most of it is still good shit.
I'm using these btw

On my family plan and just found out I'm getting a replacement today, need to make a quick choice.

>Budget isn't a worry but cheaper is always better

I currently have an S5 and I love how easy it is to access the battery and SD card and is easy to mod because of how popular it is.

Should I stick with an S7 or are there some better options? My biggest needs are large battery life, quality screen, and ease-of-customization as I only have experience with custom ROMs on the S5.

>mfw my HTC 10 didn't even come with headphones

Thoughts on the moto z play?

MOTO G4 or Nexus 5X?

Price isn't an issue since they are in the same price.
I've ever owned a smartphone. So I don't know what one does better than the other.

In the end, is QHD on phones really worth it?

decent sub-$200 phone in Canada?

N5X.

Just get a Sim only subscription with a unlocked device. C'mon this isn't that hard.

So how long do you think it'll take for samsung to get me a new note 7?

Ignore Moto G4 is the way to go.

The phone's that offer it still give good battery life but 1080p on a phone

Ignore Nexus 5X is the way to go.

Is the Nexus 5X + Google Fi a good option for budget?

>$10/GB
>no microsd slot
No you fucking retard just get a Boost LG Stylo 2 or Warp Elite from amazon and a $30 5GB high speed data plan from boost if you're on a budget.

Ignore and Get the iphone 7.

>$10/GB
I only use a max of 250MB of data monthly anyway, I don't use my phone that much
>no microsd slot
32GB is more than enough for me

Literally switched plans yesterday for Nexus 5X and Google Fi. Same price as my old plan and cheaper if I don't use the data.
If you use no data it's 20$ a month.
Pretty damn good.

I don't have the cash to straight up buy a phone, that's why I'm asking for the best suscription options

I'm upgrading my s6 to an s7 today. What should I do to get my phone ready/get rid of the data already on it?

It's not for sale anymore. But was the AMAZON FIRE PHONE worth owning?

I just returned my N7 today for the full refund. Using my GS3 in the meantime.

I w-went with a 128 gb 7+ please don't bully I need my weeb rhythm games again fucking konami doesn't support android devices.

What do you think how "sturdy" the back of the x compact is? It's pure glossy plastic and I fear that it will scratch very easily. I am thinking about going for the z5c instead, the glass back looks more scratch resistant desu senpai.

are there any issues with the iphone SE

I had a plain 5 before and moved to android but android is kind of shitty tee bee aytch

Apple has 1920x1080 p and 400ppi at 5.5" too just like a 200 shekels Chinkphone I'm considering. Currently have a one m7 with 470 dpi. Do you think I could tell the difference

see pic related

no not really. If you want a small apple device then this would be it.

SE is easily the best phone ever created, go for it.

Some kind user helped me out with flashing my RN3P last night and said that the kaze edition actually has Bands 2 and 4.

Is this actually true? The official xiaomi website doesn't even list band 2 and 4 in the tech specs for the phone. Why would they intentionally leave out features of their own product?

see

i have a 1000 euro budget for a phone, which means i can basically buy any phone out there, but HOW in the fuck do i decide?
help me.
i want long battery life and quality photos i guess.

thinking about huawei p9 or xperia z5

He wants a fucking iphone so I assume he is aware of the drawbacks when buying that smartphone.

LG V20, mainly because it has a removable battery that supports QC 3.0

What is everyone's thoughts on the Blu Life One X?

They both have B2 and B4. multiple users in /csg/ reported it working in the U.S with t-mobile already.

The version they sell in China is different, it's not sold in resellers shops.

>I have a budget which can buy me any phone
>do I get last years Sony model or overpriced chinkshit
Get an HTC 10 or the V20 if you manage to get your hands on one.

The Nexus 5X is $199 if you buy it with a Google Fi plan.

Does anyone think there will be a similar offer with the new "Pixel" (Sailfish, Marlin) phones this year?

Yeah except it's gonna be $499 and $599.

i love everything about it except the way it looks.
i really really like how sexy the xperia is.
thanks

My imouto has G3 and want to upgrade, she wants a LG phone, should she go for the G5, G4, V10 or the V20?

Is there any way to verify that I have the correct version?
The product page doesn't say anything about bands 2 and 4.
banggood.com/Xiaomi-Redmi-Note-3-Pro-5_5-inch-2GB-RAM-16GB-Snapdragon-650-Hexa-core-4G-Smartphone-p-1030861.html

What custom ROMs do you guys use for your HTC10s?

>imouto
fucking off yourself.

just ordered my iPhone 7 32gb black with 12gb data contract from Three :) Coming 16th Sept. Seems to be best UK deal

Honestly they might stop making them and the next cheapest thing will be the Nexus 6p for like 350$ or maybe a pixel for 300$?
They might flat out discontinue the Nexus 5X deal.
I remember when Nexus 5 was hard as shit to find when they stopped making them. They were cheaper to find used than their old NEW price.

Also the Google Fi Nexus deal "expires tomorrow."

Couldn't people just buy the phone use google fi for a month, then cancel?
Although kinda a hassle.

Download

And see what bands it connects to. if your phone says that Band 2/4 is reaching your device, then that means the phone does have band 2/4 support, although that could also depend on your exact location e.g in the city/rural area etc.

Banggood probably just copy pasted from the Chinese page.

No you

>HTC 10 is an almost flawless phone with great specs, build, unlocked bootloader and can be rooted on every carrier
>Accessory market is shit outside of higher quality, expensive cases

Do I need a SIM card for this app to work?

Eh I don't want a iPhone I was just asking if a difference of 70 dpi is noticeable bc the display of my m7 is the only thing I like about it anymore *-*

I was just saying that for Apple 1080p is enough at 5.5" and people always say mug retina is the bestest m

...Yes? obviously? how do you want it to connect to mobile networks otherwise kek.

Sorry, I'm an idiot.
I'm just trying to know what bands this is capable of before I choose a network. Thinking of MetroPCS.

I'm new to Android rooting and flashing, I wanna flash a custom ROM but wanna be able to revert everything to stock firmware and with the flash counter on 0 so the warranty isn't fucked. Is this possible? How?
On a S7 Edge (SM-G935F), Swedish if that matters.

>samsung
not possible, say thanks to knox

Opinions on galaxy s7 edge?

Look at the box it came in, usually it lists the bands on the side. or maybe in the invoice. otherwise no way to know except putting a sim inside it and checking if it gets a signal. ask one of your friends/brother/sister/parents their sim for a minute and test it.

How to get my group messages to work again with my buddies with iphones now that i've switched to android

I wanted to put moon reader pro on my phone but the legit one's are behind login to Google walls. Are any of the cracked apk downloads safe and not just going to steal my phone info

OnePlus 3 or ZTE Axon 7?

>no microsd slot
>dogshit battery life
>low res piss stained screen
>no microsd slot
Why consider the onecuck 3 AT ALL?
