What do you think is so great about elementary OS?

I like the Slingshot and the whole menu thingy on top; docky is great too. Basically elOS is just ubuntu with pantheon with custom, organized, interacting apps.

It's Ubuntu except it looks good like OSX

I love how it looks. Too bad I can't get it running on my desktop or I'd switch.

I like the concept of what they do:
Get a small team of spergs to make the interface better.
But I don't feel like using a distro where the only thing they do is focus on visual stuff.
But they are the only ones I have seen who could figure out how to make a battery widget.
Guess most other DE designers are using desktops
