Just don't want the web and world taylored to what it thinks I need based on some algorhythm or whatever based on previous purchases and searches. I want a fresh experience when I hit the web with a browser. Sometimes a bit of 'bot' is handy though. I have a browser without any plugins that I peruse vendors for things I like and then I log into my webbased email and voyla... competing discounts on the items I want.

I think an opt-in opt-out is humane and sane. But the big bucks are probably behind having no choice but to be stalked and logged and profiled only to executed as an undesireable in the event of lost war or politcal party coup.
