Have you filed your claim to get your $30 for being misled by Nvidia?
Or are you going to file your own suit to try and get more?

why are they giving money ? i don't wan't to open a new tab.
Because if you accept it you relinquish your right to dispute a fair compensation.
>40 dollars? what do you need 35 dollars for?
>ok fine, I'll give you the 30 dollars you asked for
I thought it was $30 from the start?
Your check says $25, but uncle sam taxes it, so the $20 become $13.55. Don't forget to sign this agreeing to not sue us!
>top tier performance and you literally make money by getting nvidia products
Holy shit how can AMD even compare?
Amazon UK told me they would look into giving me a refund and never replied.
As far as I know it's US only
Nobody cares except mad AMDtards
Should I do it? I don't have a receipt.
It sounds pretty lenient as far as documentation goes. Do you have anything from where you bought it?
The box :/
The serial number should be enough.
But for $9.99 you can get expedited shipping for your check. Just send $19.99 to our legal department, and they'll process your payment for $29.99 right away and ship out your check totaling $3.46 the very next day.
You might be able to do it
Was I supposed to register and do shit like that (GPU)? All I have is the box.
Register what?
>go to a store
>take photo of the serial number on the boxes
>use them all to get free nvidia bux
>????
>profit!
?
I heard that you could register GPUs.
Well, you can register the product on the manufacter's website for RMA purposes. They would ask for copy of your receipt, though.
For that, you need the serial number, wich is either somewhere in your box, or somewhere in the hardware (usually on the backplate).
If you already have registered on the manufacter's website, you can use that to prove that it's yours. They probably have a copy of your receipt there.
One more thing: Don't your stores send you an e-mail with purchase details and a receipt?
Yea that is what I taught, but no I didn't ever do that.
>gtx970settlement.com
I actually sold mine on eBay a month ago but all I needed to submit was my email Newegg receipt as proof of purchase.
Us only right?
what kind of person keeps the box and doesn't keep a receipt inside it?
Reminds me of the time Club Nintendo was shutting down and people learned that Wii Mini codes that were on the boxes could be used to get coins, then they developed bots to try out combinations to match the Wii Mini codes and spam coins to your Club Nintendo.
I didn't purchase from a store
Correct
>>welp that explains why i have only 13 gb of ram instead of 16.
am i going to jail for finding a 970 on ebay, copying the serial number and such, and submitting it before anyone else does?
noone's gonna come after you for $30-$10-$5=$15
>tfw no US citizen
it's not like I w-wanted those 30 dollars anyway!
I can't find my box, so I just sent them a PDF of a Newegg confirmation email. I hope it works.
>not even the compensation can break 3.5
Where's the proof that you only get $15
where are we suppose to get our claim numbers from? should i ask amazon for one?
Do we really need that?
Go to nvidia control panel and submit device ID or part number if you don't have a receipt.
Is that all we need? Also what part of the control panel do we go to.
Yes.
System info.
memes
Should I give both the Device ID and Part number?
>only in the US
Oh well, it's only $30

Guys I bought the GPU used a long time ago with box and all but no receipt, should I do it? Afraid of getting into some shit.
I ordered a msi gtx 970 gaming 4g back in like 2-3 months ago for my first ever pc build and when the lawsuit came up, like sometime that week I noticed I had $30 refunded to me by Amazon. I wasn't even gonna do nothing but I guess my shit was done automatically
You're not doing anything wrong. The worst they can do is say no refund, you don't qualify etc. etc.
Try it again, see if you get it
desu, no, not over $30
True, true. I actually got it from Amazon but did that trick where you keep the GPU and get your money back.
wew, free $30
There's multiple ways to do it
So, are you legally allowed to claim this $30 if you already returned a 970 and got a full refund?
I think so. The lawsuit is for people who bought it.
Doesn't really specify whether or not you still have to own it or not
How often does this work?
Depends on your Amazon record, like how long you have had it, Prime or no Prime, and shit like that. You also need someone that knows how to do it for you.
>Knows how to do it for you
Just on a guess I'd say any account with few returns, prime for at least a year, and saying it didn't come within a day of receiving it should work if this really is a thing. I know from actually not receiving packages that amazon doesn't check anything. They just resend or refund.
There is more to it than that mane, you need someone that knows how to do it, remember there are different reps and shit, they usually only don't care about cheap $10 shit, which isn't what your trying to get. I happen to know how to do it.
Yeah whatever retard. I've done the exact same thing minus the lying about delivery with $300 items.
What the fuck was the retard for you stupid cunt?
>$300
Lmao noob
>Thinks there is some secret process to telling amazon something didn't arrive when it actually did
Lmao noob
Your obviously not part of that whole scamming scene fag, it's not as easy as you think it is. They set out investigations if your a newfag that doesn't know how to do it, happen to me when I first started. $300+ items get more and more difficult, it's possible to do $1500 or more dollar refunds which requires a lot of skill, because you basically need to convince and rep and his superiors.
dude you need to SHUT UP because I KNOW the secret method to get you BIG DOLLARS REFUNDS from amazon u need to kno the rite ppl send pm and ill help u out
its me ur brother btw
^ In case you couldn't tell, the above was written about you. That's what you sound like.
Lmao whatever newfags, go and refund a Macbook and watch the shit you will get in.
It's not just for us, people outside Sup Forums can also make the claim.

>taking advantage of Jewish lawyers profiting off a minor marketing department mistake so you can get 30 neetbucks and get an order of fresh tendies
you guys are faggots.
The lawyers are going to profit regardless of whether people file a claim retard
Welcome to business
If you're a capitalist, you're a jew.
That's it, so nvidia are jews as well.
Might as well lets the jews jew other jews to your benefit here.
Fraudulent advertising? 3.5 v 4 gb meme card.
>taking advantage of Jewish lawyers profiting off a Jewish semiconductor company marketing dept"mistake" so you can get 30 neetbucks and get an order of fresh tendies
fixed
I got 40$ out of the DRAM settlement, was pretty cool.
Different or same suit?
A different one, didnt clarify clearly, it was the price fixing that went into basically every manufactured DRAM from the PS2 era.
Took like two years, forgot about it completely. Got some official looking shit in the mail and thought it was jury duty. Instead it was a check.
If you have a 970 and want a surprise 30$ gifted to your future self go for it.
>Nvidia loses nothing because only AMDrones cared about the .5gb issue in the first place
c-can i still file in for a claim if i buy one now?
Ended in August
but why would you buy one now? A 1060 is better for about the same price
I wouldn't be so sure about that
what about people outside us?
