First for Note 4

Help pls. S7 Edge, iPhone 7, or wait for the Pixel XL? Looking for the best performance, camera, premium feel, and battery life.

probably s7 edge unless the pixel turns out to be not shit

So, i've been thinking of getting some kind of gamepad option for my phone, what do you suggest.

I kind of like the ones that clamp on the side, but those seem iPhone only. How are those ones that clamp the phone up top? they seem to run relatively cheap.

Not too much faith in the Pixel. Why not?

Is there anybody here with a G4 that has used it long term and NOT had a bootloop?

I bought mine back in October, and is still going. But I'm assuming my clock is almost up and it's driving me nuts thinking about it. I really can't afford a new phone right now, and since I bought it off contract from Amazon when it goes I'm pretty much fucked

What are some Sup Forums approved stylus phones?

Will Pixel and Pixel XL be the biggest botnets in the history of the world? Will I be able to remove google play services?

Need Nexuslads to respond please.

Note 4.

bad leaks

don't buy the pixel. not worth it for the money. i'm waiting on the release to scoop up a low price 6p off ebay though

tfw phone is scheduled to be delivered tomorrow but its still in china

Is there an updated version of the Sup Forums phone tier list?

...

Samsung Galaxy Note 7 or Nexus 6P?

>LG G4
>top tier
FUCK YOU LG AND YOU'RE SHIT CUSTOMER SERVICE

Looking for a ~400€ phone in Germany. Priorities are an excellent camera and expandable storage.

>bomb or good phone
tough one

Bomb? Why though?

>xD pretend to not know the biggest smartphone story of the year
cute

A literal hand grenade or a soon to be deprecated phone with SD 810° Fahrenheit?

Revisit your life choices.

G5.

What about this bootloop crap?

Anyone here with an Oukitel phone? Interested in the k6000 pro and I have some questions

Which smartphone should I buy if I want to look like a total faggot in public?

rose gold iphone se
or a massive korean phone

I actually don't know, man. I'm just here to look for a new phone that won't die within a year.

>shits on others' opinions
>suggests LG

No bootloops for G5...yet. you know never know with LG though. I hate their phones anyway with their horrible UI and meme buttons on the back.
Anyway it's that or Z5 for a 400€ phone with a good camera and an SD slot. you drop the SD req. and you'll have much more choices.

Anything with more than 4 buttons.

The Note 7 is blowing up worse than AMD cards. Samsung issued a global recall. The phone is actually dangerous.

As in, actually randomly exploding?
Jesus fuck.

>Samsung phones randomly exploding
What the fuck is going on? Is there a single brand you can trust?

Can't even trust lower priced Nokia's,either.Had a 635 and the touchscreen died within two weeks of light use.

Samsung, because they're recalling and replacing their phones.

Much better than Apple imo.

But you're better off with chinkphones. No such thing as a perfect phone, just buy the best phone you can within your budget

>A 6-year-old boy from Brooklyn suffered burns to his hands Saturday night when a recalled Samsung Galaxy Note 7 exploded
Why does a 6 year old boy have a Galaxy Note 7?

Zenfone 2 in God tier kek

Guys, is the Moto Z Play the best and most affordable phone out right now that will also give me the pure android experience?

I dont care if it's not running the latest 821, i'm not a power user. I prefer the extra battery as a result of the low consumption cpu.

Other phones that do interest me are too fucking expensive. How yall feel about the 6p?

>Moto Z Play
How much does it cost?

This.Any kid under ten should have an old PC worth less than

>not buying your infant a $900 dollar phone because of all his good boy points

Why don't more phones use the 650/652 chip? Do they hate battery life?

Would you recommend the Nexus 6P, then? It's made by Huawei so it's technically a Chinaphone...

Apple, Google, and as contrary as this sounds, Samsung. They're handling this incident very well.

$400

looks bretty gud

What're the prospects of your phone getting 7.0?
Oneplus one here, I'm thinking around new years

>passport

>not liking that glorious 1:1 aspec ratio

what are you gay?

>Snapdragon 625
>3GB RAM
It's good, but not $400 good. I mean that's the same price of a flagship with SD820 and 6 gigs of meme RAM.

>had to call Samsung to return my Note7 because they wouldn't let me do it in store for some fucking reason
>said they'll call me back to go over everything but they don't

z5c
next march, maybe, and that's a stretch

1. Charge it
2. Put a towel around your hand
3. Play some heavy 3d games that really overwork the CPU
4. Pray that it blows up
5. Sue Samsung and win millions of $$$

Dude, this is your chance.

im trying to decide between oneplus3 and nexus 6

i can get the nexus cheaper with a plan but i would have to pay upfront for the op3

pros/cons, opinions, experiences?

canadafag here btw

i'd trust samsung but if i'm being completely honest i lost my faith in them over a power button. the s7 edge i got had a sticky power button that would lock or not activate etc after 15 days of use. i looked it up; common problem. only solution is to have samsung replace it with a "refurbished" phone under warranty. samsung still hasn't fixed the problem; i looked it up today. that just screams shoddy QA to me and coupled with the consistently terrible batteries i'm inclined to say don't trust samsung's models beyond the s6.

get the redmi note 3 pro if youre in canada. supports all canadian carriers.

Which flagship? op3?

I want to get back on pure stock android. Tired of dealing with the little bugs even if i'm overall happy. I say this as a opo owner

What's the chance of Note 7 prices plummeting after the recall drama is over? It would be sweet to grab one for like 400€ just because no one wants it due to reputation.

not really concerned with that, im willing to pay >500 dollars for a phone if its not available on the carrier i want

in that case is the note 3 much better than the op3?

note 3 has half the ram and no amoled, so if you wanna shell out the cash, go ahead.

You'll have an insufferable amount of buyer's remorse if you get an iPhone senpai desu. This is coming from an iPhone 6 plus user who will probably get a V20 or Priv.

OP3 is better than the Redmi note 3 pro, but the rn3p is like $150-200.

well im still trying to decide, also i assume the nexus 6 will drop in price after the pixel release

i'm also banking on that fwiw. i'm going to be trawling ebay with you my friend

Buy a LeTV, Oukitel, Or xiaomi.

Good brands that offer updates and better value than a nexus.

Unless you need the custom rom support

i think the main appeal of the 6p is carrier compatibility. nothing else has that except the moto x pure and you can't use that on fi. google's selling it's overpriced phones for access to a cheap premium network.

>supports all canadian carriers
Actually, it doesn't.

Not discrediting you, but could you give me some reasons instead of that silly pic that's been posted a million times?

The only thing op3 has over redmeme note 3 is camera

Fair enough, chinkphones unfortunately don't work well in the US, and on some few carriers.

Luckily I'm on optus and am compatible with every chinkphone, haha!

The reasons are in the pic, though some I do disagree with. However that list is incomplete. It misses things like a retarded 100MB download limit for mobile data and how much Apple makes older iPhones laggy as fuck with iOS updates.

To add insult to injury I'm waiting on death row for my iPhone to get the grey bar of death.

iPhones just overall fucking blow. I'm really disappointed in them. Thought I was getting something good with all the money I spent you know?

Meizu Pro 5 with ubuntu any good? most things I want is battery life, freedom, camera and spotify

Would a Nexus 5 for $190 be a decent deal?

double the RAM tho

Who else here fell for the Huawei meme?

Got the Mate S about 4 months ago and it's super fucking laggy now.

Hopping back to Sony when the Xperia XZ is released.

I'm torn. Really looking for a phone with great audio features and I know the HTC 10 and LGv10 are good options for headphone audio for the built in DAC.Should I wait and see what the v20 is about or pull the trigger on the HTC 10? In the USA (AT&T) Or is there a cheaper option that rivals in audio?

Not to mention good hardware.

If you can deal with an abysmal battery life, probably. And that's if you get it new, forget about having >2h SOT if you buy used.

the one that covers 4,20,28 lte bands does iirc

>hk goldway finally got to sending me shipping information
>hasn't actually moved
still gonna mash f5 until I pick it up

No, considering you can get the 16gb 5x for ~200 and 32gb 5x for 250 new (I did). If you can't find that kind of a deal right now, it'll come around again in like 20 days.

in a similar vein, what's a good stylus to get for a moto x pure

If a phone works on 2g does that means I'll get cell service and internet?

How on earth is MIUI a pro? It's just a shoddy imitation of iOS. The closer to stock, the better IMO

$190 is already cutting close to top of my budget. Is it worth waiting a bit more to get the 5X? Trying to move up from an old 1st gen Moto E

I am generally pretty poor these days, but I would like to try to get myself a nicer phone and I have 3 potentially-affordable devices in mind, so I'm looking for advice and suggestions. My budget is around/under $200, maybe $250, at most. And buying a used phone (from eBay, Amazon, Swappa, Craigslist) is fine by me, as cost is definitely a concern.

For the particulars: I am in the U.S., in Arizona; and I have T-Mobile service with Unlimited LTE Data.

The 3 phones I am considering are (in order of preference):

1.) Nexus 5X
2.) Moto G4 Plus
3.) Moto X Pure

I am currently using a Motorola Moto G4 (the cheaper Moto G4 that just came out about 2 months ago) and, for the most part, I like it; but it's a little too large for my liking, and the camera lags too often when taking multiple photos rapidly, which is a problem, because I takes lots of pictures. I have used a Nexus 5 for about the past 2 years and it's been my favorite smartphone so far. I also had a Nexus 5X briefly (just last month), but some sorry, thieving, piece of shit, cocksucking motherfucker stole it from my locker at work, after I'd had it for 9 days (after buying it from Swappa for $160 two weeks prior). I really liked the Nexus 5X overall, including the camera, functionality, and the size/feel in my hand.

As for the features important to me: camera; battery life; size/comfort in hand; smoothness of operation/functionality, not lagging or freezing up; signal-strength; call-quality; earpiece/speaker/headphone sound/audio volume.

Sorry for the long post. Helpful replies would be very much appreciated!

> Pic related: Motorola Moto G4 Plus vs. Nexus 5X

hey bud I just got a 5x today in fact, switching from a Galaxy S3 (sprint) to t-mobile. I don't know how helpful I will be since im used to a pretty old phone but I like it so far. Its definitely not small but I can do most things with one hand (except take screenshots, idk why volume is placed under power buttons now). I haven't used the camera much but it doesn't come with any bloatware. Brand new and runs pretty quick just browsing shit and doing basic apps. The speaker is not very loud. Display is nice and it really feels better than the $200 I paid (actually $6 a month for 24 months, can't beat that). I also got a supcase which seems comfy. here is my pape good luck

Calling bullshit search on youtube jerryrigseverthing note 7 the man stabs the battery and it catches fire slowly but until someone records an actual explosion of a battery able to burn a jeep its media expeculation

I've been trying to avoid phone contracts for a while but I'm finding it hard to find any decent phone that isn't on contract. Should I just suck it up and get one? Canadafag here.

No, I didn't even know what your blog was about because I didn't read it. Man just a do a tl;dr greentext, that's all I'm asking.

Bump

>had a Galaxy S3 on Sprint for 4 years
>just got a Nexus 5x this afternoon
>not sure if really great or if I'm used to crap

Get the RN3P, my friend. Almost same specs but you know, what you are getting.

why do we keel shilling this phone it doesn't work on the majority of us carriers

Thanks for replying, my friend. I appreciate the feedback and it's good to hear that you like your new Nexus 5X!

As I mentioned in my post, my 1st preference is a Nexus 5X, but there was a deal posted on SlickDeals the other day for a 64GB Moto G4 Plus for $200 (which seems to have been a great price/deal) and someone who owns several newer phones, including the 64GB G4 Plus (with 4GB of RAM), posted a reply and stated that the camera on it was comparable to the camera on the Nexus 5X and that the battery life on it is absolutely spectacular, and those two things are really important and enticing. They also mentioned that phone functioned very smoothly, had no lag, and was basically great overall. The only thing that bothers me a little is the size, is that I'm assuming the Moto G4 Plus is the same size as the Moto G4 (which I currently own and have sitting next to me) and it's a little too big for my liking, particularly, for one-handed use.

However, after reading the comments about the Moto G4 Plus having an excellent camera, being really fast and smooth, and having fantastic battery life, I am really tempted to try to get one, even over a Nexus 5X, particularly, if the deal for the 64GB model for $200 comes around again.

Has anyone on here owned the Moto G4 Plus? If so, thoughts on it overall? And if you happen to have also owned a Nexus 5X and/or a Moto X Pure, how do the phones compare to one another?

> Pic related: The Motorola Moto G4 Plus

>US

Found your problem.

Sorry for not being more concise, a.k.a., lazy and vague, you rude faggot cocksucker. As far as I know, you're not forced to read every post in the thread.

Go fuck yourself.

That phone only has 2GB of RAM so expect shit multi tasking and bad battery life as a result. No msd slot means you will only be able to foam at the mouth as 128GB msd cards go for $20 a piece soon. You should have gotten something like an LG G3 instead.

no u. Seriously though nobody wants to read a fucking blog post on Sup Forums, there are other websites for that. Perhaps you should consider leaving Sup Forums and never coming back, professor.
