It works as it did when it was new really, had to get a new coin battery but it takes AA's and lasts for weeks of regular use

Might be a good choice, depends if you want to take the notes off the device though.
That Casio is pretty basic, no ports of any kind except some wierd proprietary port that only works with a special PCI card that was made in 1995 and only works with Windows 3.1

Get one with a CF card slot or a PCMCIA slot and things get a lot more easy to work with and the machines themselves become much more useful.
At that point though, might as well buy a Palm PDA

360LX here, definitely prefer it over the Psion 5mx and 200LX. I also have the Jornada 720, but it has calibration issues.

I actually own this model. really disappointed the battery finally died, I used it for a good chunk of my high school and college experience (the universal remote pre-installed was neat).

Anyone know a good place to order the expansion pack/batteries they used to make, or have they vanished entirely into the ether?

Seems there's some good shit lurking around in the forums.

Admittedly I haven't tried a wide variety of games on this thing, mostly just Pokemon Crystal, but it runs it perfectly with the gnuboy emulator, which I've had great luck with in the past on other handhelds. Just make sure you pause the emulator before switching to another applications.

Would love to know this as well. I found a site a while back that was selling batteries for these things for ~$20 but the SSL certificate was expired and I was kind of iffy about it.

Would really like to get wifi/CF on this thing to use it as a terminal or something of the like.

some native stuff: ms word, telnet, irc, packet radio, oldass roguelikes, web browsing with doslynx (SLOW)

stuff if I use it as a terminal into an openwrt router: better web browsing, email, ssh, all sorts of other linuxy bullshit

I still use a 1997 Palm Pro every day
