ITT: We are HackerNews

...

Interesting. I hate to play the devil's advocate here, but the URL of the current site isn't ``news.ycombinator.com", but it is actually ``boards.Sup Forums.org". We are, in fact, not HackerNews.

I see your point, but I'd just like to chime in that the subject of the thread is that we are HackerNews, which makes this a case of "The map is not the territory".

Wait, are we already playing the game or is this for real?

Why would you not implement that in node.js? C++ is old legacy crap.

Suck a dick retarted 4channers.

You guys should check this new OS made enterily with node.js

I honestly think you guys are confusing that website with Stack Overflow

LOLIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII

At the risk of derailing this conversation, I would like to point out that the website is barely readable on my ancient Opera version.

It also fails webaim.org color contrast checker and the usability is compromised when javascript is disabled.

im ok with this

Do people actually read the comments on HN? I always just looked at it for whatever cool new tech shit is out or some neat writeup about some problem.

...

stackoverflow leaked to HN long ago

Ask HN: How do I make my conference more diverse?

it's a satire of itself

HN is literally paid MS shills and employees. Everything they say is an ad for MS or an attempt to divide and fragment other non-MS software communities.

>Sex toys and the Internet of Things collide - what could go wrong?
As far as I'm aware this is nothing new. Teledildonics are quite popular nowadays.
