Wtf I hate USB now.

Funny, that's the same toshiba USB stick I have.

With the over reliance over technology, there have to be multiple methods to destroy it as well.

desu maybe this will finally get people to stop plugging in USB devices they find on the ground. Warning people about BadUSB clearly didn't work.

>1A to 3A
no.

Would this actually work?

yeah

nah

maybe

i dunno

install gentoo

can you repeat the question

Who the fuck does this?

normalfags

Can you kill a server farm with this? Would you need to plug it into each individual unit?

This is the exact reason why everything needs to be wireless, including headphones.
Prove me wrong, apple-hating poorfags.

see

Can you repeat the question?

>Wireless Power supply
>Wireless Mains
>Wireless Wireless

...

>wireless charging
fix'd for you

kek this reminds me of filling floppy disks with red phosphorous and putting a match head on the wheel against a striker so as soon as the disk is read it explodes

Wow this would actually kill me if I touched my computer with the USB plugged in because I have ungrounded plugs.

Lol long live Russia.

Yes you would

>He doesn't know how to disable usbs on their computer.

USBkill and USBguard do this, and most enterprise usb encryption does this as well.

This is a little more than $20 cheaper, and will destroy a computer much faster.

epic taking this to r/Sup Forums

I can't carry a sledgehammer in my pocket.

>not just hammering target computers with your dick

It's classified

>i lack basic understanding of electricity

It shows.

well memed, friendo

>make a usb killer device
>sell a solution to stop it
capitalism, everyone

Haha this is so funny and original! :)

Haha put my reply into the screen capture, reddit friend! I can't wait to tell get a whole bunch of positive karma so I can become a modder at r/socialism! The reddit army will never fall! :D EXPECT US XDDD

Can't you just use a wire and connect the power and ground on the port?

Is anyone else deeply disturbed Apple was the only company with enough foresight to add fuses to USB?

Best meme my friend

There isn't enough reaction images.

>Wireless mains
If only Tesla succeeded

>Is anyone else deeply disturbed Apple was the only company with enough foresight to add fuses to USB?
Most mobos have USB fuses, my Gigabyte FM2+ A88X from 2013 has a fuse for each USB port

how can you check if a usb stick is trustworthy or not without plugging it in?

There is no way.

>Is this USB stick mine?
>yes
plug it in
>no
Don't fucking plug it in

dismantle it
you can easily recognize these power surge ones as they full of surface mount capacitors
can't tell if it's one with a modified firmware though

It won't really destroy anything that would incriminate you in any way or form.

You literally need to burn the hardware. or apply a lot of electricity through every single part until it pretty much melts.

A microwave is safer and will get your hotpockets done too, OP.

so i couldn't check it with a multimeter or something?

No, it's discharged by default, it only charges when it is connected and then discharges

how does this work? purely on the hardware level or is it some software solution that runs the power-gathering/surge instructions during the automount?

Yes and Yes

is it both? hardware level you can't protect against unless you pour glue in your usb ports. software level you can

I do
