Do any of you still use firefox? If so, what version?
Do any of you still use firefox? If so, what version?
v49
...
nightly best
I use EarthWorm
it's a fork of FireFox
47, 48 deliberately removes the ability to use extensions without Mozilla's approval and in the not too distant future they're going to fuck up the entire extension system to copy fucking Chrome, so I don't see myself "upgrading" any time soon
SeaMonkey Nightly 2.45a1.
51
No, pic related is much better and faster.
I use AirHare
It's as fast and as light as the name suggests
Firefox Beta 49.0
and its also a botnet.
this is not funny.
I just use the latest version and as long as non of the add-ons I use are affected, I don't care about what says, but it does have me a little concerned.
Also you can (currently) use either Nightly or the developer version of Firefox to install any unverified add-ons.
Got nothing to hide
I use WaterWeasel, it's pretty slick
Chrome 53 on phone
And chrome dev 54 on chrome book
It's a bit smoother, but it uses fifty times as much RAM and the UI isn't customizable unless you use third party reskins (Vivaldi, Opera, etc.)
i used firefox on everything except my macbook where i use safari for the battery life
t. firefox beta/nightly/aurora user
Latest stable.
This run slower on my 4 years old laptop than firefox.
I try different fork, beta, aurora, nightly or browser but always back to firefox stable. Dont know why, but I think best browser/version really depend on your hardware.
I run ESR (which is currently based off 45)
I only have to turn off some new faggotry once a year or so, instead of once every few weeks.
Nice try, Google shills.
Firefox still continuously ranks as the most used and best browser among Sup Forums users.
Yes, 48.
My only complaints are that it takes quite a bit of time to open up the first time, and HTML5 videos sometimes get an annoying stuttering black screen. Been having these issues since like 42.
You're probably just trolling, but that's still a horrible reason.
If the police knocked on your door right know and asked you to search your whole house, without any real reason, just as security precaution, would you agree? After all, why would you not if you had nothing to hide?
>Firefox still continuously ranks as the most used and best browser among Sup Forums users.
Did you even look at the image you posted? It shows Firefox even with forks included having a total of 45%. A 7 year old child knows enough math to tell that 45% is less than half, thus less than most.
Firefox? Hell no, I'm not some nerd. XD
Chrome all the way. I mostly play games anyway, IDC about browsers.
Yeah, more people also use piece of shit iPhones, that doesn't necessarily make them better. What the fuck is your point?
chrome is some light browser, not using that shit
Whatever the newest one is. I've pretty much switched to chrome for all important tasks considering chrome doesn't crash every 30 minutes just because I have a couple hundred tabs open. It's also SUPER slow when it comes to anything JS, HTML5 or Flash.
He said most. Not majority, not half, but most. Most does not mean half. Go be a retard somewhere else.
You can be not nerd, but you are cuck for sure ;^)
>browser with Earthworm Jim as its logo
I would use it.
Waterfox
Yes, and whatever the newest one is...
>couple hundred

48.0.2
nightly
...
nightly since the signing requirement became mandatory and the workaround was removed in vanilla FF
dev edition and unbranded builds don't have that either
Exactly the same here.
I like the ability of being able to view how much power is going to each process but other then that I haven't found any benefit from multi process have you?
It seems like exactly the same usage
dev edition
it just works and has a good UI
I use seamonkey. I'd use firefox but the gtk3 filepicker doesn't show NFS bookmarks. Seamonkey is the gtk2 firefox and I am happy with it
...
...
yeah, latest stable and latest aurora release for two different profiles.
The latest releases dating back to i think around 46 or so have a memory leak issue on my system, where browsing the internet for too long causes everything to become sluggish and load weird. Rolled back to 43.0.4 and so far everything is fine. Is this a common problem? am i the only one with this issue?
only faster if you dont delete your cache history
Hi my name is John, I do not use firefox, I use Chrome, you should also use Chrome, it's faster and bettet, it makes my life much easier. I am definetily not getting paid for writting this message.
Use any version with e10s
...
I use Opera and PM, how are Waterfox and Sea monkey?
Yo, browse more: wiki.mozilla.org
Whatever is newest. It gets the job done.
Chrome scrolls like ass in Linux.
45.3.0 ESR Portable
portableapps.com
I still use MemeMoon but it seems not to be a placebo. It's one of the only browsers that run decently on my overheating x201 anyway so I'm good.
7/10 would use again
Opera is the way to go
I don't know how anyone can stand Firefox anymore. Its too fucking slow now.
nigthly, is there even an alternative
Opera, it's just snappier and more responsive than that SJW run piece of shit.
Are any Firefox-forks faster than Waterfox? it's too slow on my somewhat shit laptop.
desu I just want the fastest browser possible but nobody can ever give me any kind of direct answer as to what that is
I was considering switching to an FF fork, but I never got to do that and I ended up staying with this version.
I'm on 48 and I use at least one unapproved extension.
48.0.2 with Classic Theme Restorer
just works
The right to hide your childporn =/= the right to say nigger Edward you dumb shit
waterfox 24.0
>Do any of you still use firefox?
i can't imagine using anything else unles you're a normalfag
Nigthly, is there even a substitute to Firefox
ESR, but recently Soundcloud dropped support for older Firefox versions and I'm using Nightly on the side.
Yes, latest stable. With classic theme restorer and shit of course.
>where browsing the internet for too long causes everything to become sluggish and load weird
Had this problem after around 33 or 34+ and updated to 43.0.1 in the hopes that it was fixed. Seeing as you've been having that problem like I did makes me not want to update. I think their only solution was to refresh FireFox which didn't work. FF 33 or 34 was a beast for me, shit never crashed for me. Can't go back now though, too much new addons I'm using need FF40+.
But do you handle your online banking with it?
What if there is just the stupidest bug in it that posts your credentials on /toy/ or something equally absurd.
Or are you poor neets pretending to be devs?
48.0.2
cyberfox
The last one + the Android one.
This
>le ebin "everyone who wants privacy watches cp" meme
Bullshit, the image is absolutely correct. You have "nothing to hide" until the moment when a book you read or something you said to a friend 5 years before in a private chat is going to retroactively have you end up on a black list or worse.
Post your wallpaper please
34
I'll update as soon as they unfuck it.
38
>not using completely separate browser/os/laptop for sensitive data
Neet spotted.
>Do any of you still use firefox?
rarely, but I still have some tabs open in it that I haven't gone through yet. Also, very rare in 2016 but compatiability is better on some sites
>If so what version?
Don't know, haven't updated in 2-3 years
Kek
You have the fucking code, take out the botnet and recompile it famalam
the latest, e10s engaged. noice.
Nightly Master Race
3.6
Anyone who uses anything after is cancer.
v43
and i´m pretty much satisfied with it
everything after it is shit anyways
Firefox 48 for Android for two reasons: add-ons mainly uBlock and background playing which means you can listen to YouTube videos while phone is locked or while Firefox isn't open. Making YouTube Red pointless and technically making Spotify premium pointless.
However, it does have its issues. At times it would just stop a video playing and I'd have to refresh the page. This could be due to Android or the bulkiness of Firefox itself. Certainly not my phone because I have an S7.
Aside from being bulky it's also poorly designed. It's not fluid to use like Chrome is on Android. You can't use gestures, you have to press the little buttons. Can't pull down to see all tabs, have to click button. And the media on it sucks. The player and image viewer suck. Go to google images on both browsers and you'll see. Chrome let's you swipe to the next picture, Firefox forces you to click.
I'd never install Firefox on my desktop though. Chrome is just better. Period. I remember the old days though. Firefox used to be king. Best mobile browser though...
48.0.2
Go be retarded somewhere else you commie piece of shit.
no one uses firefox except for tinfoil tier faggots who like using old shit like windows xp and linux. firefox is literally the worst browser available, even microsoft edge is better.
>even microsoft edge is better.
That is surprisingly true. I've had more crashes and issues with firefox and edge has only froze for me a couple of times that I've used it. Although I didn't use edge until last year for a bit compared to a few years of firefox.
This is a nice sounding quote but it doesn't really work as an analogy
>have loads of firefox privacy add ons
>changed a load of settings in about:config
>go to google maps
>still knows my position
>literally no search engines you can trust either
I just thought fuck it and moved to qutebrowser instead. Hell I'll use lynx from time to time too.
...
48.0.2 x64
Is there any firefox addon or something else that would let me listen to music from youtube without displaying videos?
I use ForestSnake 52.1, pretty lightweight as the name suggests
>chrome has exactly the same addons available
>chrome has exactly the same settings avalible
>who uses google maps?
>they are getting location based on your ip, not geolocation within your browser
>startpage, serx
but google=/=police
who's the retard your quoted?
Best. Man. Ever.
