i actually AM using Deepin and its super nice. Love that i can use the "add to desktop" feature in chrome and it actually works. also for anyone that doesnt know. you can change the appearance of the god awful dock.

everything works great out of the box for me. and honestly i had been distro hopping for a while and this is the only one where steam has worked out of the box without me having to delete runtime libraries and all the bullshit. as far as botnet, i dont really know or care clearly, im using chrome kek.
