About to replace my failing Deathadder with a Rival 300 because nothing else seems to peaky interest and I know too little about Logitechs line.

I should have used 'dying' instead of failing. It's an old 3g deathadder
get something with muh pure and perfect sensor
or if you want an ambi mouse, get a sensei
for whatever reason i don't trust the rival series
>Ambi mouse
I'm right handed and only spend about 2 hours a week on fps games.
>2016
>abi mouse
>not zowie fk2
get a g402
The only people who buy zowie are poorfags that don't care about build quality
PBT body, too comfy
Looks a bit too flashy for my preference. Is there anything else around this mid range from Logitech that looks closer to consumer-like with a similar sensor?
>driver-less
>perfect sensor
It's not about being poor, it's about not wanting bullshit with your mouse. I like being able to plug it into any fucking computer and not have to install bloatware.
>build quality
The coating and feet on logitech mice peel after a month
My old Logitech is easily my favorite mouse ever until my cat put her paw in a cup of water and pull it on top of my mouse. I don't remember what it is was but it was an 80$ wireless transformer mouse
Here's my situation:
>Spent $90 on a Rival 700 from the Steelseries store
>Use mouse for 5 months
>Left mouse button dies
>Warranty lasts 1 year
>RMA filed, can't think of any reason why it would be denied
>Apparently I will end up getting $90 credit on the Steelseries store
What should I due? Until the RMA is complete I'm stuck using a Redragon Mammoth (pic related). Should I buy another Rival 700 or get a cheaper mouse and get something else from the webstore for free/heavily discounted with it?
I think I'm gonna have to pay them shipping, so maybe I'll just throw a bitch fit on social media.
I'm right handed and mostly play csgo and overwatch. I'm indifferent about kewl lights and muh shinies.
>scroll click dies after a couple weeks
>h-hey it doesn't peel xDDD
Don't do it, I made that same mistake. Replaced my DA Chroma which had failing left and middle clicks with a Rival, and after about a year of use, the MMB is fucked, sometimes not working, other times double-clicking, as well as the cheap as fuck rubber grips starting to flake and peel off, and straight up disintegrating, then you get a hole on the side of your mouse.
Recently replaced that with a G502, and I'm loving it.
Microsoft Wheel Mouse Optical masterrace reporting in.
No drivers. Great function. Fantastic button-feel. Lasts for fucking ever. Will outlive cockroaches after the fall of humanity.
Its a good mouse, has served me for 2 years now.
be prepared for the material under the thumb to wear out pretty fast.
Otherwise a really comfy palm grip mouse.
To add, i turned off the leds because the colors are weird.
>no drivers
Is that so
if you have to pay tax then SS is being a bitch about it. So you should be a bitch on social media.
Well, none that aren't automatically found, obviously.
You *can* install the customization application, which is actually pretty impressive. I haven't bothered since my last OS installation, though.
>get something with muh pure and perfect sensor
Did you even check to see what the sensor is in the Rival 300?
you'll be pleased, switched to a raw, it was really better overall.
Sadly the quality of a lot of brands has gone down the shitter, avoid anything new made by razer, zowies and no brand crap because they are even worse.
>It's not about being poor, it's about not wanting bullshit with your mouse. I like being able to plug it into any fucking computer and not have to install bloatware.
As much as I hate razer online shit and having to install extra drivers who the fucks unplugs his mouse constantly and plugs it into new machines that never had a driver for the mouse before? This is the most idiotic excuse.
>who the fucks unplugs his mouse constantly and plugs it into new machines that never had a driver for the mouse before? This is the most idiotic excuse.
What a fucking idiot.
When my old diamondback got gross, I went through a few mice (mamba and a roccat) before getting this mouse. Personally, I love it like I love my toothbrush. It gets the job done, doesn't annoy me, and doesn't leave me a gross feeling when I'm done (like that fucking diamondback).
I have it, it's great
Let me guess OP, you got the Deathadder 2013, which is full of issues.
>double click issue in M1 and M2 after a short time
>scroll loses grip pretty quickly
>DPI fluctuates for some fucking reason
If you like the ergonomic factor of the Deathadder, get the Deathadder Chroma, it has all those issues fixed.
Had to fucking switch the 2013 edition three times thanks to warranty for the same model brand new just to return it again.
On the 4th time I was lucky enough to get the Chroma edition.
>inb4 Razer shill
Nah, I did try to use other mouses, but since getting used to Deathadder since 2005 or 2006, I just can't go for anything else, it grew on me.
The Chroma has issues as well, as in terrible build quality leading to missing or double to triple clicks on all 3 main buttons.
I have a Logitech G303, which I quite like for the sensor and the small claw-grip form factor. I've had a palm grip MX518 before it died and I never put my palm on it anyways.
I have to say though that the first G303 I had suffered from sensor rattle, so I had to get it replaced by Amazon, which was really easy and hassle-free though.

HEY OP CHECK IT OU TAOSDHFLAKJGALKJGBAERO;FIERUFGHER'OGIHSDOVEWI/ofjhleouhf
don't buy steelseries mice... just fucking don't
trust me on this
logitech g602 is a good mouse. never failed me... yet...
Just bought a Logitech g403 after looking at mice for like a month, only £10 and much nicer IMO. Newer too.
Weird, I guess I was only lucky then, or that shit will happen later.
How long it has been since you started using it? Mine broke after almost exactly a year of daily use. Look up online, and they're extremely common issues. It doesn't mean it will break, but just keep in mind that the possibility is there and it's pretty high.
2nding this
Their mice are shit and their support website terrible.
The mousepad is good, but its pretty fucking hard to mess up a mousepad.
this
i have the g402 and that shit is shit lol
i wish i payed extra for the g502.
>infinite scroll wheel pls
Get any new Logitech mice, else Zowie for driverless mice.
Myonix are also worth to look at.
great review user, you did good
What is shit about it pajeet?
G502 is too heavy, you're a fag.
nice mouse
lol keep defending your g402 ya slope
looking forward to destroy mines' and replace it
>now i have to wait for a decade. damned logitech mice
>G502 is too heavy
People kept saying this every single time I asked about the mouse, which made me worried before buying it, but I went ahead and did it expecting the worst, and it honestly feels slightly heavier than the DA Chroma, and lighter than the Rival, even though it is technically heavier than both, I feel it's much better balanced. I usually like light mice, and with the G502 I sometimes put some extra weight on it.
i replaced my deathadder with a zowie ec1a and im never going back
100% recomended
Get the g502 the infinite scroll is dope and the extra buttons are awesome for browsing the web. I set them to back, forward, refresh, and volume up and down, all controllable with 1 hand while my other hand does other stuff.
im so jelly reich now.
>tfw g402 is a poor man's g502
did you get the refreshed g502? (prometheus spectrum IIRC)
Bought it 1 year and 3 months ago.
I do use it a lot, quite more than the average user (like most of us here do).
If it breaks I hope it'll be the next months, have 7 months left in the warranty.
Why is it shit?
the deathadder will have a reiteration pretty soonish.. i'd wait for it
i've been from razer 2013, to original Steelseries Rival, Sensei Raw and Logitech G502 and want to go back to the lightweight, accurate and comfortable deathadder
Logitech G403 Prodigy
g402 is for gays
g502 is the shit

I don't. Regardless, it's more convenient to not have to install software to configure my mouse. What makes zowie mice have such a bad build quality? Logitech mice always seemed like shitty Chinese dollar store products to me.
meme brand.
