Because, whenever I open Chrome in Windows and load a website, it waits for 5 seconds, look down in status bar it says "Downloading proxy script".. what the actual fuck is this? No other browser does this.

Chrome is just garbage due to its resource consumption at this point. Also it creates like 800 registry keys and adds itself to scheduled tasks which keeps checking for Chrome updates every hour. Only a power user would know how to disable this.

The UI got retarded and new tab page is slow as fuck. But back in the days it was good. But they made all versions, mobile one first, pretty much unusable.

The UI is genuinely better(and snappier after e10) but the browser is so fucking slow when you have more than one tab open. Like, tabs literally hang if a page is loading.
