V60 or Pok3r?

Get a real keyboard, fruit

I'm considering buying one of them, so I'm curious.

>Portable
>Has top number row, no superfluous numpad
>fn layers for special keys
>~$100 price
>Cherry Clears
Real enough for me.

quickfire rapid with green switches

Never tried linears, but I like the idea of heavier switches. What are greens like?

loud blues

also, they're not linear

My bad, I must've confused them with blacks. So how do people around you react to all that noise if you're using them anywhere but home?

No son of mine gets a keyboard with fruity LEDs inside as long as he lives under my roof.

it's for my desktop pc so it's pretty comfy

it's loud as fuck but I love it

Also have quickfire rapid with browns, really like it. Plan on changing stock keys soon due to using it all day at work and home starting to get some wear.

it's a robust little thing

the rubber coating is really nice as well

at first it wouldn't sit flat on my desk so that was annoying, but I bent it back

Yeah, I don't see why I would need backlighting unless I'm trying to be cute or something. As long as I can use the notches on F and J to feel where I am, I type fine.

my friend used greens a lot and it bothered the shit out of me on teamspeak. Finally he got clears, which I personally prefer. Much better.

Fuck loud switches

I was going to get browns, but I fear they'll be too weak. I've heard they're mushy to some people. For my first keyboard, I'm probably getting clears. Do you have experience with how they compare?

browns and clears is like using reds and blacks but with some cheeto dust stuck in the switch.

there is no consistency with them.

What tactile switches are consistent, in your opinion?

I honestly wish i'd have gotten the blues. After using my brothers I've regretted.

I do like the browns, but looking back they wouldn't have been my first choice. I'd only get browns again for the noise factor as it worked great when I was in a shared office.

>actually wanting an obnoxiously loud keyboard
what's wrong with you? you want people to be "impressed" with your loud ass typing? you want to annoy yourself whenever you type? go for it, downgrade to blues.

You could pair up with this guy who wants to harvest sound energy

Nah actually I just haven't tried reds. I like the click sound but I don't need it. I'd just like a key with less resistance.

This keyboard is great to type on don't get me wrong, maybe i just need new keys as these ones are starting to get shiny.

Clears are an improvement to browns in every way.

blues/greens

Plastic or metal? How is that even a question?

I don't care too much about what it's made of, although metal is nice. I mainly wanna know which would be better to use as a daily driver. I know you can program the Pok3r, but the V60 seems to have saner defaults. I'm wondering which has the worst limitations, I guess. Because I know some parts of the Pok3r layout can't be changed, so I can't assume it's better than the V60 just because you can program it some.

WASD

>superfluous numpad
Kys :).
I get getting a 60 for portability but numpad is objectively superior

le topre meam

Lol, I don't think I've even really used a numpad before. I touch type the top row. Once you learn to do that, you're golden, you don't have to look for numbers or symbols or anything. It doesn't take too much practice, I promise

It's a matter of efficiency. You'll never get very fast with that row. Maybe not worth it if you're le gamer guy and never do any work involving numbers
Cuteness seems like it would be the biggest advantage of 60s, cash in on it
