Are the bongs leaving soon?

What's going on in England right now? By banning adult content websites, places like Sup Forums and reddit will be off limits. No proxy services or anything that encrypt data without a government backdoor. Are our bongbros leaving us? What will you guys do if you can't shitpost? I'm worried for you.

I saw some britposters in Sup Forums talking about this. I hope they can find other ways to access this site.

>Are the bongs leaving soon?

Hopefully.

You laugh now but it's a slippery fucking slope.
In a year or two after the "PHENOMENAL SUCCESS!!!" of the ban other countries will adopt it.
Who'll be laughing then?
That's right, the jews.

It's only websites that don't have some form of age verification which Sup Forums does even though it's shit.

Wait, can we still phone our ISPs and opt in? Or are we turning into fucking China?

>England

UK is comprised of great Britain (England, Wales, scotland) and Northern Ireland you uneducated plebeian

China.

WHAT THE FUCK??!

I am not a britbong and never heard of this before, but if this is for real, then internet will be kill very very soon. Fuck this shit, I am seriously mad right now.

> uneducated plebeian
Great Britain isn't a nation, user. It's an island and its surrounding smaller islands.

No

...

>Are our bongbros leaving us?
thank fuck
>forced to use IRL whores to get off anonymously
within notime the AIDs will mutate into SUPERAIDs and the piece of shit bloodlines who gave us "cuckolding" (and somehow tries to tell us it's a fetish, just to try and get us to fuck their wives) will be erased from existance

where were you when you realized pimps and whores own cuckland?

Ha ha, time for Panamanian VPNs.

not a britbong either, this is the first time I've heard of this

I fired up the guardian thinking they'd be all over this shit after all the NSA crap

>lol nope, zero mentions on the front page

what did they mean by this?

>tfw england never wanted to allow all parts of germany where german was spoken to be united as one state and always did anything to prevent that (muh "anschlussverbot" etc. etc.)
>tfw the state of great britain consists of england and a whole bunch of other countries which were forcefully conquered long ago and didn't even speak english originally, and that's somehow fucking ok and normal
>mfw

I heard Kevin can bypass this

what if I'm 18

I don't care if a site has age verification

why do they get to block things from me

I hate it I hate I hate it this isn't fair

It genuinely won't be long before VPNs are outlawed, on the grounds that they help people break the law by bypassing these blocks. The credit card providers and Paypal have been paid off to withdraw services from porn sites who don't comply, so it'll be easy to do the same for VPN companies who sell to UK customers. The only way to buy one in future will be to pay with Bitcoins through Tor, essentially relegating internet privacy to the same space as child porn trading and drug deals.

What many people don't seem to realise is that kids are literally being fed propaganda in schools about how important things like copyright law and cracking down on "rogue" sites are.

They'll grow up believing that piracy funds terrorism and that only pedos and other criminals care about hiding their identity online. That all these nasty, illegal sites are best off blocked and you'd need to be some kind of degenerate criminal to think otherwise.

This was the stuff of tinfoil hat-wearing loonies just a few years ago. You could never censor the internet in the UK! People wouldn't stand for it! That only happens in places like Russia and China! And yet here we stand.

>what if I'm 18
Are you not?

>the state of great britain

GB is technically just the big island
it's not a political state or union at all
the UK has gb in it's name but that's just for convenience

>brits care more about shitty EU membership than their own personal freedom

After the upstart of Brexit are you really surprised that the nationalists want everyone to submit to Christian conservative values? It was the idea of fighting one extreme that led them blindly into another. They asked for it.

They just have to prove to their ISP that they are older than 18 then they can view anything.

Shit man, i'm going to move to europe.

Oh wait...

>Sup Forums is always wrong, goyim! They're just a bunch of stupid racists

There's thousands of years full of reasons to hate the reign of western imperialism led by Britain but this isn't the time

just another step towards everyone getting our 'registered internet numbers' just type in your social security number to google chrome and facebook and then you can access

>They'll grow up believing that piracy IS terrorism

Fixed it for you (and anyone else).

Why is he always laughing like a loon?

That isn't how it works. There will be no universal opt in system as there currently is. They've specifically said that. Age verification will be handled on a site by site basis, with any that don't comply with their "strict" standards being blocked entirely. So enjoy handing over your credit card details to PornHub and the like just to be able to watch free streams.

this will be happening to many western countries as right wing candidates/governments get elected. trump is on the record as saying he wants to close of parts of the internet.

i hope you're proud of winning your meme'd elections faggots.

Who are we talking about here? This was most likely done in response to Muslim conservative values. I'm glad that the US has the first amendment preventing the government from enforcing such a thing here in the US.

6 million wasn't enough

Aren't there a lot of Jewish people in the porn industry?

>Implying piracy ISN'T terrorism.
>Doesn't know that the proceeds go directly to terrorism

>kids will grow up believing
>being this new

Most of the people on this board fall into the 'I ain't got nothing to hide' crew, adults who grew up enjoying internet anonymity yet willing to give it up.

>proceeds from copying a file
