is huawei any good with updates? the nova looks nice (should have been the pixel man, far far better than that htc shit).
Nicholas Torres
Got a Mi5 coming tomorrow and trying to apply for bootloader unlock. I filled the form in properly but it keeps telling me to input correct name. I have used my forum username as I'm supposed to. Anyone had this happen to them? What do?
Nicholas White
So whats the deal with all that chinese backdoor stuff I hear? I really dont care if the chinese have any of my information as the US governement probably already does, but are they using the phones as a botnet in any way that would drain battery/data or cause slowdown?
I'm looking into the 2gb version of the Redmi note 3 pro. I have a Z3 now but the battery is dying and I dont need anything more powerful just with better battery.
Eli Ramirez
Got an old xperia Z1, broke my cam and the battery is dying. Looking to upgrade. only limit : 500$ and not sony Thinking about nexus 6p or 5x or the OP3/T Any suggestions?
Oliver Lewis
Xiaomi Mi 4C good for a dad phone?
Colton Thomas
I bought a galaxy s7 edge coral blue
Carter Morris
You don't need to unlock to flash global rom or CM13.
the 3gb version is $20 more, don't be retardo.
OP3T.
Old and no global rom. Remdi 4 Prime is better.
nice blog.
Nathaniel Murphy
unfortunately, that's not available here, although there is a "Mi 4 4G", maybe that's it?
Asher Flores
No that's the regular Mi4 (sd801). mi4c(sd808) is better.
Parker Howard
So if I download the global dev ROM I can just flash it without unlocking then?
Yeah I was just gonna stick with rooted MIUI for a while at least. Thanks for the info.
Jonathan Gomez
Shot posting from my new HTC 10, hello everyone!
Jordan Stewart
If you do get the unlcok code, you should first flash Global Dev via EDL mode, then unlock the bootloader, then flash Cofface's TWRP and then flash SuperSU in TWRP for root.
Brody Barnes
Just bought a Lumia 650 for 140€
Cooper Jackson
why not note 4 pro?
Jason Allen
>paying money for a deprecated POS lmao@life.
Ian Green
im so sorry
Jayden Williams
does anyone here have the OP3, any bugs/downsides to the phone? how good is the camera and screen?
Xavier Wright
>Country Canada
>Carrier WIND (now called Freedom, kek)
>Budget ~450 Canadian dollaridoos, willing to go up to 500 of it's worth
>Features Solid build quality, efficient multitasking, good battery life, as close to stock android as possible, decent media playback and usability.
Still using a Nexus 4 but it's getting slow as fuck and the battery barely lasts half a day. Size isn't too much of a concern as long as it isn't taking up my entire pocket.
Juan Rodriguez
Redmi Note 3 Pro or Redmi 4?
i'm always watching youtube shit, listening to music/podcasts, so i need a decent battery life. How much of a sacrifice the sd 625 is compared to sd 650?
Angel Long
Looking for a smartphone, under 200(max 230$ but that's pushing it) - which phone in that range has the best camera + a microsd slot? Even older flagships in that pricerange are welcome. Chinkphones too. I'm sorta liking this meme, is it any good? gearbest.com/cell-phones/pp_569347.html?wid=21
Gavin Mitchell
Sweet man, how is it?
why not just get a dumb phone for 20 EUR
not out yet (mediakek doesn't count)
OP3T
Redmi Note 3 Pro m8, better support, more answers to issues. Redmi 4 is a riskier purchase, but please feel free to order and give us a review
Camden Phillips
Fuck, i miscalculated the price from my currency - my budget is not 200 but 150 any reasonable stuff in that range? again, i'm open to older phones
Nathan Howard
>country USA
>carrier Verizon
>features Must have: SD card slot Root access Headphone jack (it's sad that this even has to be said)
Strongly preferred: Ability to load custom ROMs (plus a Cyanogenmod release that's good or at least actively being developed) Removable battery Good camera
>budget If what I'm describing even exists among currently available Verizon phones then I can pay whatever
>size Anything between 4.9" and 5.7"
Benjamin Jones
Redmi cameras has notoriously bad cameras. the one on the RN3P is trash and I imagine the one on the R4 is too. For $230 you can get the Mi5 or Zuk Z2 with much better cameras and perfromance.
Thomas Kelly
Well my g4 just got the bootloop AIDs. Damn shame, had it since launch. Anyone know what I can expect from the process? I've had it for almost a year and a half, will it still be covered?
Do they replace it with another g4 that will eventually die again?
What about my porn? and other stuff too...I guess.
Your data is kaput and there's no chance of recovery. contact LG and if your'e persuasive enough they'll give you a G5 instead.
Luke Robinson
has anyone here gone from a smaller phone screen to a bigger phone screen if so, did ya regret?
looking to replace my z3 compact and a good phone seems like the oneplus 3t
William Anderson
OP3T is 600 Canadian (plus 80 tax) my man, a bit over budget.
Colton Evans
Battery and overpriced module gimmick aside, how is the LG G5? Does anyone here have it?
Julian Ortiz
No big screens are legit moved from Samsung galaxy alpha to pic related.
James Jenkins
Can someone give me the smartphone chart according to price thing?
Levi Turner
>vendor rom
Josiah Torres
aww fuck. well thanks user.

Guys, I want a redmeme of 5", should I go for a 3s prime or wait for 4 prime to have FCC certification because in my country, Colombia, that certificate is obligatory to work in the careers.
Coming from a Moto G3, what am I expecting? Did I do ok?
Juan Price
So, what's the best bang for the buck phone right now? I haven't checked the market in a while.
Carson Perry
I have the OP3 and I switched from a nexus 4. In my experience the screen is quite good (I like the amoled blacks) I don't notice any downside of the 1080p. If you find the colors too saturated you can also enable the srgb mode. I didn't notice any bugs in the software. I can describe the experience as using a stock like custom rom. It is very much like stock but has some really useful built in features such as double tap to wake, switching between on screen and capacitive buttons etc. For me the battery life had been really good and the dash charger is amazingly fast. Overall I'd recommend the OP3(T)
Jose Kelly
Zuk z2 (not the pro)
Josiah Peterson
thanks for the reply, hows the camera?
Owen Ward
4 Prime. 3s has a network bug that Xiaomi can't fix.
Michael Wright
pixel or s7? pixel reviews now that it is out and have had it for a while?
Robert Cruz
pls respond I am in an unusual situation and can only pick from a very limited selection so no chinkshit for me other than Huawei, and they cost just as much if not more.
Liam Nguyen
I was trying to upload a picture but the image size is too large so I'll upload to imgur here imgur.com/WjtGUeL
I haven't used the camera too much yet but it seems decent albeit not as sharp as Galaxy s7. It's very fast to snap pics. If you have any other questions just ask me user I'll be here
Cameron Carter
Fuck the above answer was meant to be for you user
Jose Foster
What Huawei? P9 is better than G5. Honor 8 too. G5 is ok but battery is crap.
Isaiah Lee
second for HTC 10, absolutely can't go wrong with this one.
Zachary Ramirez
What apps do people here use to get the most out of their battery before needing to charge?
Right now I'm running CM13 (went through permissions and turned off most of them) with Greenify and Amplify and running Nova. Is there a more battery-friendly launcher out there? (One which still has a reasonable set of features, that is.)
Nicholas Barnes
How is the P9 better? They cost exactly the same in my case. Battery isn't an issue for me since they're replaceable, there's even an extra one in the G5 box, and I'm not a heavy user.
Josiah Cooper
Don't have battery hog social media apps like Facebook snapchat
Charles Butler
?
Brayden Reyes
I don't have those anyway. Just bookmarks to the sites in Lightining.
Just Gmail for an actual social app. (And hookup apps, if those count.)
John Gomez
What's the advantage of the xiaomi.eu rom over the regular globalrom of xiaomi? (except for google play installed).
No xiaomi botnet?
John Scott
Look at the post above I replied to the wrong post I uploaded a sample pic senpai

Hi, I am looking for a new smartphone to replace my Moto G 1st gen that is aging. I live in France and will be using it with SFR. I would like decent headphone jack quality (my moto g one had crackling noise) a good battery life and a good screen. I don't want it to be laggy… If it can be rooted easily that would be pretty cool and a huge advantage. My budget is around 200 eur with a margin of let's say 50 eur, if there is an exeptional offer i could add an additional 50 bucks. The Redmi note 3 pro could be good I think but I don't know if I can have something better for the price… Thanks !
Tyler Murphy
>headphone jack being a dealbreaker for a phone that cheap
Brandon Foster
I forgot, I would like either a lot of storage or a micro sd card slot !
James Harris
Bump please
David Rivera
Zuk Z2 Mi5 RN3P
Note the that headphone jack on the RN3P is buggy af.
Austin Parker
Ive been thinking anout getting mi5, will it be on sale for black friday
>lack of basic functionality is a dealbreaker No way!
Chase Collins
What's a good 4.6 or 4.7 incher
Sebastian Martinez
Just go 5", it's slim pickings below that.
Juan Murphy
>too retarded to use the included adapter
Jeremiah Morgan
Why would you want anything less than 5 inch?
Buy a redmi 4 or zuk z2.
Bezels aren't as big these days so they're not as bad as they were a couple of years ago.
Michael Long
Sup guys quick queston, should i go for the new s7edge or a practically new note 5 while saving $150 at most?.
I know that the s7edge is newer, my last phone was the note3, but since the note7 is fucked i am torn between those two.
Thanks!.
Benjamin Cook
>phone >needing an adapter to use a phone connector
Phablets are retarded. I just got a 4.5" phone and already miss my 3.1" one.
Henry Cruz
>phone connection Not anymore :^)
>missing 3.1 inch phone that's probably as big as the 4.5 inch phone thanks to fuckhuge bezels Why wouldn't you want a bigger screen? Makes shit easier to see and read yo
Dylan Clark
> I just got a 4.5" phone and already miss my 3.1" one. kys disgusting manlet.
Camden Rivera
I want to get a dumbphone so I can use it as a 24/7 on phone and keep my smartphone as a pocket computer that I only connect to wifi from time to time.
Which is my best option? I've been eyeing the nokia 216, but I wanted to ask you guys first.
Dylan Wilson
>Why wouldn't you want a bigger screen? Why would I? I'm not blind yo
I'm not a manlet, I just don't need my phone to be a tablet. I have a tablet for when I want a tablet.
Nolan Lewis
If you want a phone with good battery life just buy an oukitel.
K10000 has a 10000mAh battery built in, k6000 and k6000 pro are 6000MAh.
So worth it.
Austin Hughes
Where, faggot?
Noah Perry
>I'm not blind A blind person wouldn't be using a smartphone in the first place though.
Sub 5" phones have all but disappeared from the market. You could probably get the iPhone 5 SE if you really want, but with iPhone bezels you'll be better off with a 5 inch android device with thinner bezels.
Xavier Smith
I can go with less battery life. Those cost too many gorillion dollars.
Christopher Baker
>A blind person wouldn't be using a smartphone in the first place though. You know what I mean, you fucking autist. >Sub 5" phones have all but disappeared from the market That's alright, the BlackBerry Q10 and Classic aren't just going to stop existing.
