What PC ports does Sup Forums use?

Hi. The new MacBook got me thinking about PC ports. I'm curious what you guys plug in/out.

>Ports your PC has
>Ports you ACTUALLY use and what you use them for

I'll start (laptop):
>My PC ports
>Ethernet
>VGA
>HDMI OUT
>HDMI IN
>3 x USB 3.0
>SPDIF
>Microphone
>2 x 3.5 mm headphone port
>eSATA
>2x USB 2.0
>SD slot
>DVD-Drive
>A/C power port

I only use the USB port for my wireless mouse. 3.5 mm for music obviously. Occasionally use the HDMI OUT to plug in to my TV.

1. Not sure, too lazy to look, most that also you have.

2. I use the USB to transfer data from my phone to my PC. Thats it.

I`ve been thinking about getting a Macbook Pro when(if) my X220 dies.

>USB-C

Laptop

>Hdmi
>2x USB 3.0
>1x USB 2.0
>SD Card reader
>3.5mm audio

I frequently use all of them.

Main PC

6 x USB 3.0
2 x Ethernet
2 x line out (headphones)
2 x line in (microphone)
2 x other dolby 7.1 outputs
1 x USB type c
4 x hdmi
2 x display ports
2 x dvi
1 x ps2
2 x wifi antenna
1 x spdif

Right now, im only using 4 of 6 usb 3.0, 1 ethernet, both wifi antennas, and 1 dvi.

USB: Mouse
USB: Keyboard
USB: Audio out (and the 3.5mm one on that)
USB: External disk
SATA: Internal Disk
PCIe: GPU
PCIe: Audio in
2x DVI: Displays
Ethernet
Power
DVD drive is disconnected because it's a noisy piece of shit
occasionally USB for phone or μC programmer

My pc:

Motherboard:
Serial
VGA
2x USB2.0
2x USB3.0
3x Gbe Ethernet

Pcie Cards:
Gtx 970:
3x Displayport
1x HDMI

4x USB 3.0 CARD

1x Audio soundcard

What I use/for:

Serial: Led Display Control / Configuration (NovaStar LTCMars)

Ethernet: Local connection to media server (Avolites AI)
Ethernet: Sometimes for 4g Router or macbook pro for monitoring.
USB2.0: Keyboard
USB2.0: Mouse
USB3.0:
USB3.0: Color Calibration System
Displayport: Output 1 to Media server
Displayport: Output 2 to Media server
Displayport: Output 3 to Media server
HDMI: Local 4k Display
USB3.0: Hub for flash drives
USB3.0: Dedicated port for external HDD/SSD's
USB3.0: APC-40 Mini Controller
USB3.0: External Configuration for media server
3.5mm Stereo out: Headphones for listening:

Laptop:
2 x usb
1 x sd card
1 x 3.5mm audio
1 x hdmi
2 x thunderbolt 2

I only ever use the usb ports and sd card.

Main PC:
8 x usb (6 are 3.0 and 2 are 2.0)
2 x Ethernet
8 x 3.5mm audio
1 x ps2
2 x hdmi (one on mobo one on GPU)
2 x DVI (one on mobo one on GPU)
3 x Dislpayport
2 x Wifi Antenna

I use all the usb ports on the back, the ps2 port, the antenna, a line in and out for my headphones and a mic, and a displayport cable. The 2 usb ports in the front are used to transfer files

I use port 80 to browser the internet.

>80
>not 443 everywhere
Pleb

>having something to hide
fucking terrorists everywhere

>ports it actually has
PS/2, onboard VGA and HDMI, six USB, one FireWire, SP-DIF, six audio ports, ethernet, plus dual DVI and one mini-HDMI from the GPU
>ports I actually use
Two of six USB ports, line-out, microphone, and one of the two DVI connectors from the GPU.

What I've got:
>Ethernet
>VGA
>DVI
>HDMI
>DP
>SD card reader
>Optical & coax S/PDIF
>PS/2 keyboard/mouse
>WiFi/BT antenna connectors
>various 3.5mm audio sockets

What I use:
>Ethernet
>DVI, HDMI, DP
>SD card reader
>Optical S/PDIF (via 3.5mm adapter)
>3.5mm for mic
>USB
>WiFi/BT antenna connectors
>PS/2 for keyboard
I use pretty much every type I've got, except I don't use all available USB, audio or display connectors. I guess I also don't use coax S/PDIF.

I known its a bait but
You never use YouTube, google, Wikipedia, duckduckgo, or any other serious site? They both require https.
Try to block 443 on your firewall, and see how usable the Internet is.

Samefagging to mention I also use the ethernet port. No wifi for me.

Have:

2x USB 3.0
1x USB 2.0
1x HDMI out
1x3.5mm in
1x3.5mm out
1x VGA
1x Ethernet

Used: everything except VGA

why not 1194?

USB-A 2.0 and 3.0 (used)
FireWire 800 (used)
PS/2
RS232 serial
Ethernet(used)
Audio front panel(used)
Rear audio

Other ports are on expansion cards.

We got a new firewall at work and I was surprised how much was blocked or fucked up without 443.

>mic
Sometimes
>line out
For audio
>line in
Don't even know what to use it for to be honest
>Ethernet
For internet
>USB
For mouse and keyboard
When copying files to HDD/USB-memory or from camera
>VGA
To my TV
>HDMI(on GPU)
For monitor
>DVI(on GPU)
For monitors
>PS/2
Don't use it now, used it a while ago before I got a new keyboard

Most of them. I use 7 of the video ports (6 monitors & 1 projector), all the USBs, both ethernet, and one jack for audio as my amp uses a hdmi for audio and passthrough to projector.

3.5mm headphone jack
4x USB 2.0(KB/M, microphone, bluetooth)
Ethernet
HDMI
2x Displayport

I also have an SD card reader for my phone/3DS/Wii U and sometimes I plug my phone in directly.

>6 USB
two for mice( one is wireless and used in another room), one for keyboard, one for headset, one for xbox 360 wireless adapter, one for running my droid 4 that has no battery so must be plugged in at all times.

>1 3.5mm audio out
For my decade old dell speakers

>2 HDMI
One monitor on my desk, the other running through the wall to my tv

>1 DVI
To my main monitor

>1 ethernet
Obvious
