The Razer Edge has a much weaker GPU than the 15" MacBook Pro. It's weaker than even the 2012 and 2013 versions of the 15" Macbook Pro. If you mean the Razer Blade Stealth, it's Intel Integrated only, so also much weaker.

OSX doesn't handle games well.

I'll give you an example. Knytt Underground. Some random 2d indie Game made with some Game making tool. A $200 laptop should be able to run it perfectly. It runs perfectly on Linux. It does on Windows. When it comes to OSX, it chokes and gets a lot of tearing. Why? I don't know. I don't even know why they sell games for Mac. All you can do there with a $200 gpu is emulate old games. When some big title comes out for OSX I'm just wondering if they're fucking with their customers, because even cs go is unplayable.

There are so many things that can go wrong to a laptop that can be fixed with software patches, you can't just pick a MacBook out of a box and just load up the latest game and fire it up max spec and be literally shaking and crying that it doesn't run at 60fps.

I've got an XPS 15, a decently powerful laptop by a normal person's standards, and if I turn everything way the fuck up I'll get framerates that low as well. Overwatch runs at like 18fps at 4k high settings-- that's why I don't fuckin do it lol.
