Budget 4k Monitor?

Budget 4k Monitor?

I can pick up a Seiki Pro SM28UTR

Screen Size: 28"
Display Type: Twisted Nematic Film
Screen Resolution: 3840 x 2160 (4K)
Aspect Ratio: 16:9
Brightness: 300cd/m2
Static Contrast Ratio: 1000:1
Viewing Angle (Horizontal/Vertical): 170°/160°
Response Time: 5ms (GTG)

Right off the bat it looks like a fine 4k, downsides being its a TN Panel and yea its not higher then 60hz but then again its $175

DVI Displayport and HDMI 2.0

Im building a new pc soon but even then didnt plan on gaming any higher then 2k as Im only getting one 480.

If you wernt an IPS/Brand Elitist, would you buy pic related for $200?

>TN
Into the trash it goes.

TN is the whole reason its affordable ill gladly give up muh viewing angles to save a few hundred dollars

Enjoy your trash then.

>worrying about viewing angles on a desktop monitor

>downsides

Stop settling for shit, you poorfag.

>Budget
>4k
Nope.

28'' Freesync 4k IPS was like $300 yesterday

Every adult who isnt a 1% settles for something all the time, when you grow up you'll realize this.

yea but this is almost half price I meant to chance the $200 to $175 in the last sentence.

>cheaping out on a couple hundred bucks for something you will be staring at for hours every day

Do it OP. Unless you're a professional photographer, there's no reason to pay a premium for muh color accuracy or muh viewing angles.

>implying everyone on Sup Forums has a $500+ Monitor

browse the bst threads sometime, most are still using handmedowns

You obviously have no idea what its like to be a grown up

Seiki has shit blacks. You'll miss a lot of detail in any darker scenes.

>being a poorfag is "grownup"

You could always get an education and a better job.

dunno why i'm bothering to reply to your obvious troll attempts. but very very few people have the money to buy the very bast of what ever item they're currently interested in.

You talk like you(your parents more likely) have the money for the best everything, congratulations, 99% of the USA does not and you see, that's where all these "options" come in, You weigh cost against features and end up making a decision

Everyone cant "always get an education and a better job." Life doesn't work that way but you'll find out soon enough child.

Here you go you poorfag

>23" 4k monitor

Oh I'm already finding everything out with my education and better job.

There's scholarships and loans. Anybody can get into college nowadays.

Stop settling for poorshit and make something of yourself, faggot.

Have fun getting eye cancer from TNshit then.

and yet with your "education and better job" you still don't have the best of everything you own, so its pointless for you to even take that argument other then to just shitpost.

Id love for you to post a battle station pic of you own setup, but you wont.

because thats a thing

I have an IPS 1440p PG279Q and its nice but TN is reall the same shit just not as nice viewing angles. I watch shit at shitty angles in dumbass positions so its nice.

It's never worth buying a TN monitor, just save up some more if money really is that tight.
