Arch is for faggots that want a unnecessarily complicated distro but think Gentoo is too hard to install

why the uneeded arch hate? what did arch ever do to you?

No, it's the maintenance that sucks. I don't have time for that shit.

>unaudited collection of build scripts made by 12 year olds
This. When archfags tell me the AUR is a plus I die a little inside.

Installation process is pretty much the same except with Gentoo you have to compile everything from source.

What maintenance is so difficult and time consuming?

Meh. It's pretty much just a script to clone something from git, compile it and install it as a package but it saves a few minutes vs doing it manually so why not.

Some of us aren't kids who have the time to fix shit consistently.

You can't look at a pkgbuild and tell if there's nonsense going on? There's not a whole lot you can do to tamper with things.

hiding something in a larger patch file would be quite easy

Why not completely dying?
Do it for me.
Please?

>What maintenance is so difficult and time consuming?
Building and updating packages, mainly. I've got about a dozen computers to maintain here. Four Arch, three Ubuntu, one Mac OS, one Wangdows, a Slackware, and a Debian installation on a Zero Pi. Sometimes I have to dedicate an entire day to updating shit. I'm not knocking Gentoo, it's just too much work for so little gain.

When you start taking autism medication. The elitism wears off, you return to Windows or Ubuntu.

No need for yaourt you stupid nigger. In fact, Arch Autists vehemently argue NOT to use it.

...

screencapped the only time Sup Forums has ever said something correct

Perhaps, but Gentoo users would masturbate to pictures of someone like that.

I would, but I'm too lazy.
