Literally never needed oop bullshit, and never seen any need for it
what am I missing?

A job.
get a job you autstic retard. school doesn't teach you shit
When you start writing programs longer than 20 lines you need to have your code organized. This is much easier in object oriented languages.
But I guess that doesn't concern you and your fizzbuzz.
Who is that grill?
Damn, she's cute.
My girlfriend
whos the qt?
but this has never been an issue for me
I have a job, and I frequently write programs much larger than 20 lines lel, so whats the big idea? Its literally just a semantic thing? just organization? No wonder it creates piles of disorganized shit
depends on the field
web programming, or simple electronics might not require them
but when you're trying to abstract real world items or sets of information, you normally use data structures for these
and that works until you have several of them, or you need to constantly modify/process/create/destroy them so you require a Manager module/class for those kind of Objects/Structures
that's why Java/C++ appeared
as the amount of data increased, so they complexity of programs on the available languages, OOP trade some performance in exchange of faster development times of programs handling these large amounts of objects and functions for them
not to mention it also made programs much more modular, allowing for easier maintenance and development across several developers
then again OOP is not necessary for all cases, on situations where performance matters the most (front end web development, single board computers) you don't need complex OOP structures as the inputs and outputs of information are simple
What's the original?
(not RMS)
bump
Just focus on the grill. rms' face hide an ugly shit.
why are garter belts so hot? fug guys, am I autistic or something
this is why functional is growing
my use of OOP languages is basically named tuples and namespaces
simplicity is next to godliness
Don't worry, OOP is used to create highly maintainable code, so when Pajeet is replaced by Rajesh, Raj can then maintain it without too many worries.
It's not like anything good is written in non OOP style languages these days. They should just remake the Linux kernel in Haskell if you ask me.
the one with the beard?
Stallman-chan
> a chasing is happening to the cat and mouse
vs
> the cat chases the mouse
and that's why OOP is useful
Original picture?
original, had to look....
my poor eyes
Kudos
>tfw no cosplaying qt red head gf
Says two wage workers. Get a fucking career and get back to me.
>she's
She is the embodiment of perfection. The type of girl I have always longed for.
Any open source examples of an end user application written without OOP of a decent size?
I'm skeptical but if it works I'm interested to look at how I can apply different strategies to my coding. Currently most of what I do is MVVM stuff.
You're losing headaches and frustration
Okay let's see,
Let's say you're making a car, the car will have 4 doors and all will have the color red.
You put that in a constructor and then you figure that you want each door another color so you just use the same object 4 times and each time you just apply a different color instead of writing the same block of code over and over.
Guess this is the most basic concept of what objects can be used for
What's the name of the girl?
If you don't understand OOP after 6 years, 2 of which are probably in the industry, you're probably retarded. It's not a difficult concept. If you didn't figure it out by now strangers on the internet can't help you. You should get ready for a career change once the fad you work with at your current job goes out of style.
"self taught programmer" everyone
Didn't we have kinda the same thread yesterday?
>catched
Your code is probably a fucking mess or you never made anything other than a script to download images to fap yourself.
Please never try to find a job as a dev, you're the cancer of this industry.
How the fuck have you never come across OOP? I was taught that in my freshman year of college...
