Do I have to censor those?
Wew lad
Got this PowerMac 7600/120 from craigslist for $20 bucks.
Not even interested in the PowerMac itself, just got it for the keyboard, mouse and monitor and some parts like the floppy drive and VRAM for my Quadra.
Lucky, that's a great machine!
IIRC it has composite and S-video in.
Yeah, s-video and composite both.

Amber master race
...
What do I do with all those drives?!
You cherish them like old memories of a gone past time.
>this is the box I keep my old memories in
Kek
Now i need a NUC. Also there are adapters for the original keyboard and mouse, so i might go full autist and use those.
>Amber master race
>he can't afford a green phosphor monitor
Meh.
Sleeper builds are not really retro. New hardware is boring.
HP terminal from '91
ISA slot power filter.
For "muh audiophile" quality sound. :^)
Kek
Fucking cool, love terminals
I might be getting a regular mac plus soonish too. I dont know if it still works, but probably not because its been sitting in a shed for a few decades.
I just like the look of these computers.
That's cool
>I dont know if it still works, but probably not because its been sitting in a shed for a few decades.
Are you the guy who was talking about the Mac in the shed with a corroded insides?
Is the screen dirty or does it have white and bright white text or just B/W?
My father had a similar 286 Toshiba with the same amber plasma screen. I remember there was no battery and it was loud as fuck for a "portable" computer.
Amber on black text was really good for reading comfort though.
I can relate to that, I got a similar model for xmas once, when I was a kid, it was a quite old machine for that time already, mid 90's.
I didn't care, I could play DOS games on it.
Actually, it's not that bright at all. It's just B/W with no shades in between. We installed a terminal web browser but the baud rate we set was so high, it would render pictures in plain binary. It took 4+ minutes to render Google.

Kek, nice

Tell me that's a mechanical keyboard?
Checked.

Holy balls, what a museum
Thanks, care for a tour?
I'd love to just mess around with them
What do you do with them all?
...
They are my hobby. I love old hardware and messing with it.
...
What is that? Does it rip cartridges?
Genuinely interested!
...
THIS is a real arcade!
...
Kek, those russians

Here you go good Sir.
I myself asked it once from a user from here too.
...

Looks like rubber domes to me.
>not interested in the computer
Sad
Sorry, I already have a PowerMac and 68k Mac, I need parts from it more then the machine, it was cheap and if I didn't buy it, it would have gone into the trash anyways, what I don't need I'll of course give away.
nice
What do you play with that? Steel Battalion?
There's even more

Source on the wallpaper?
How about a google reverse image search?
This one is pretty outdated
It just came up with laptop images... thanks anyway
...
I tried to quickly and accurately reproduce the image from the laptop.
Here.
Get a MDA monitor and a Hercules, CGA or EGA card and put Win95 on it, works with Win3.1 driver.
appears to be a monochrome display, so the wallpaper would really look more like this
But muh amber
that's just what the display produces, but ok
Noice
Blue board you bastard!

cutting out those two deskop icons was difficult, as there's not enough information to tell which pixels were from the wallpaper or from the icon
>magistral
>morkoi boi
>soda water machine
>goruki
wait what
When I was growing up there was a crate at the local bowling alley that I used to play all the time. Underrated classic.
This is still used in Greece.
But can it run Crysis?
i'll kick your ass at soda water machine any day, comrade
...
We had some equivalent of the Autorally-M in the driving classes (aprox. 10 years ago). You had to do a lap before you were allowed in real vehicle.
Truly the pinnacle of car simulation
They do the tax accounting on those. It runs the economic crysis at 240fps
>It runs the economic crysis at 240fps
More like -240fps, it's going backwards actually
Stone Age computing
needs to delineate at a darker tone. note the dithering on her skirt in the OP
apply an amber post filter.
>needs to delineate at a darker tone. note the dithering on her skirt in the OP
i did darken it to get it a bit closer, but it's more than likely he used different software to dither his image, so i won't get the exact result
