Could I get a rate/suggestions?
Do you think I should try to put more PSU cables on the back (it's really hard to do that)?
>tfw desktop died
This CR-48 wont accept pc3 12800s ram
Sizing it up however, it may be possible to throw an acer cb3's guts in there
>tfw AIO started leaking
>tfw waiting for a replacement from EK
I think I'm going to swap the tubes, maybe fittings, and possibly even the CPU block when I get the replacement.
Options include:
>White tubes, black fittings
>Black tubes, white fittings
>Clear tubes, black fittings, pastel white liquid
>White tubes, black fittings, Supremacy EVO White Edition
>Clear tubes, black fittings, pastel white liquid, Supremacy EVO clear nickel
Or some other combination of black and white ?
Opinions ?
>post yfw $20 RGB lighting from Deepcool is fucking amazing
It's on sale for $16 now at inet.se (Deepcool RGB 350 Color LED Kit).
I'm gonna buy some more for future use and backup.
Those are some nice moody lights my dude
I'd buy a led kit if my window wasn't made of shitty easily scratchable acrylic.
as you can see, i care a lot about the looks of my computer
I see you also practice the free-standing SSD style. Nice.
>wasting money on water cooling when air can easily do 4.4 ghz
could be spent on something better than a goyforce cuck60
...
whatsup my fellow autists, it's been a while since I've posted. just got this little led strip on black Friday to light up my system. I'm planning a full system upgrade when Kaby lake comes out.
Got a 1060 3GB recently. I need a nicer case though.
(amazing cable management)
;-;
Rate my wc.
Would be 10/10 if those pipes were rigid
Who do you even try?
It is clear that you are underage and your dad doesn't give you enough money to buy stuff you want, do just watch the adults post and wait until you find a job and buy the proper components to make a nice pc to take picture at
I hate you
Here's mine. PSU is an RM750X now because the old EVGA had finally had it. Sleeved cables and a pair of 144hz monitors are next.
Why does it turn....
>waiting on new motherboard to arrive before I tear down for case swap
>custom loop
>not even overclcoked
In my defense the loop was transferred from a Skulltrail system that desperately needed liquid cooling for the north bridge.
meme machine coming through
watercooling hasn't been about performance in years friendo it's all about aesthetics now
why do you think rigid tubing is so popular?
Look at my singular poo fan.
>3GB
Enjoy your gtx 1050
I don't ask for money to buy new parts; that's degenerate gaymer, low-IQ behaviour. The only time I upgrade my computer is if I make up the cost of new parts by selling old ones.
... but, sure.
T H I C C
why the fuck it upside down
Sold R9 280X
Bought an Asus 27''1440p60z monitor
Pulled the trigger yesterday on a new Gpu
1070 strix coming.
New picture soon
Very nice my dude
>Strix
why do that to yourself
oi
Damn very clean and nice looking.
What's wrong with the Strix cards?
Overclock that cpu my dude
It is Overclocked to 4.7Ghz, speccy just shows the stock speed
What's with the chode 650? The 780 will run three displays on it's own.
2 of my monitors are analog and the 780 only has one analog connection, got the 650 for free so I don't wanna waste the $50 on a analog to digital converter.
Hows this for 350$? Im getting a black psu and a 212evo on christmas
My 12 core 24 thread Xeon build
>inb4 GPU and PSU starving for air
I'm getting one of those Kraken GPU brackets and water cooling the card and flipping the power supply
> That big black cooler
Nice.
Can't really say since you didn't post what parts you have and from looking at the pic $350 is p bad for that build
This isn't my case but I also have an R5 and I'm thinking something very similar
The question is, would the ? Green intake in the bottom front make any sense? It seems like it might just impede the two front case fans and I'm not sure if it will do anything at all besides increase the positive pressure, which alone shouldn't be a problem with the 3 fans as it is. The only concern is that the exhaust fan working in tandem with the vertical CPU fan might outdo the filter-restricted front 2 fans and create a negative pressure, which is why I originally wanted 3 intakes. All of the case fans would be the same fan
If you don't remove the stupid plastic shrouds from the io ports you are the problem
Nice. Is that cpu block home made? Overclocked your cpu?
New guts. Still don't know where to put the pcie cable without it looking wonky.
I normally hate lights in cases, but you got it right. Perfect.
Process of upgrading the GPU and PSU
Before
Hate reverse layout
No case for a week. I have a hepa filter so I hope the dus buildup isn't too much.
>buy 3200 tridents
>too wide to fit cooler
>stuck with 2400 gskill value
maybe the vengeance heatspreaders aren't too wide for the dark rock tf
Should've done your research before buying buddy
My new rig

I3-4160
Rx460
Asrock h81m vg4 r.2
8gb Hyperx ram
And a generic psu/case combo i got for like 40 bucks
You made all the same mistakes i did on my first build kek.
bait
Dont judge me. I like pretty lights.
Finally fixed my Card reader yesterday and finshed my time off.
1st Rig
1/2
2nd Rig
2/2
I hate this case
I want a HTPC case and can't find one for this spec this is the smallest motherboard I could find for this cpu and spec.
(-.-)
Why are there so many ATX builds featuring one graphics card?
What's the point?
I'm quite happy with my micro-ATX, 5 fans, 32GB memory, and 5TB of storage.
Anyone got a manta mini itx?
Thinking about getting it for new build with h60 and 7600k
I'm a miniITX guy myself. But I still sometimes feel like I would like to add some silly extension card to my computer; but I cant. But I don't really need to add anything that can't be solved with USB for everyday usage.
So those that have that "feeling" that they need it from the beginning, they might choose ATX.
>falling for the multigpu meme
bump
Hello... need help... ;_;
I want cooler for my cpu FX-6300. I want something quit and efficient in same time. Noctua seems cool but their color combination isnt something I would like to see in my PC.
I imagine something black and white. Maybe even blue color.
compressed air is your friend.
/pcbg/ but a hyper 212 evo is enough for a 6300. Cryorig h7 is also rather nice. Better than the evo, also is black with a white fan.
I plan on downloading some more ram for dusty here.
Nice, decided to build a povertybox over Black Friday too.
i3-4130
H81-P33 mobo
1050ti 4giganiggas
2x4gb Corsair Vengeance DDR3-1600
WD 1TB Blue
EVGA 450B PSU
Rosewill SRM-01 mATX Case
Grand total of $298.74
Ganna start building it once I get home
If you're hyper poverty mode you should give linux gaming a try. Steam support is actually half decent. Or do the kinguin thing for $35 windows keys.
>dusty
I've seen worse, not everyone has time for daily dusting.
The only way to find out is testing it in practice, but my hunch would be that the ?-fan is not a good idea. The two front fans create an air stream that is directed at the hottest components, which is exactly what you want, and the ?-fan looks like it would just disturb that directed stream and scatter it. Three case fans plus a dual fan tower cooler is plenty already, so the ?-fan is probably superfluous at best and harmful at worst. You'll probably have positive pressure even with just two intakes, and if not it should be close to neutral. The R5 has good filters and some degree of dust buildup is unavoidable, so don't worry.
To back up what I wrote in , I just found a build log from someone who also considered placing another fan on the bottom of a Define R5 and the result was as I guessed: Between harmful and useless. Two fans in the front and one in the back is enough.
silentpcreview.com
(Scroll to the middle of the page, section "An Extra Fan")
Also, the guy notes on the same page that the included fans in the R5 are really decent, so you could just buy a third fan and keep the other two you already have. Won't look as nice if you want to post your build in /guts/, but that's your decision.
FAN STOP
such a gigabyte thing to have on a GPU
You could try a "cube" mATX case (that appears to be mATX. Some of those are about as compact as you'll find without going ITX.
>that horribly sad feel when not atx cube cases
My idea for the GameCube redux will never exist
ATX or mATX?
Newegg has the Apevia XQber 3. I want to slap my old build parts into that motherfucker. Look at that mid 2000's rice feel!
I mean atx matx can't support the parts it would need
What are you aiming to put in there that needs more than just a few PCIE slots?
Genuinely curious.
Cooler Master has that HAF case too. It's a lay-down-flat ATX case. It's still big since, you know, ATX, but maybe a form factor that's more convenient for you to stick somewhere.
