People who are good at interviews get the job, while people who're good at their jobs but bad at interviews don't. I assume you don't necessarily want people who are exceedingly socially gifted in programming roles, for instance. I'm sure it helps, but I'm also sure you'd rather have someone very good at their job than someone who will spend all their time on social media instead of working.

Sure, most women are more socially adept and bad at their jobs, and will be able to bullshit their way through this poorly constructed interviews, but so too will some men be socially adept and bad their jobs.
