third for rubber domes
I miss thiccc keycaps
How would thicc keys affect a keyboard? Would they feel lighter as the spring is more easily pressed?
>muh thicc
thickness is overrated.
hhkb keycaps are thin pbt and yet provide one of the best feeling I have tried, rough and dry even with greasy fingers
Push Devlin to make a full set of their K-series then.
I hope I don't like this magicmeme68 so that I can return it and buy printed hhkb keycaps with the money instead
[spoiler not spoiler] Just kidding I'll probably buy the set anyway
...
...
thanks mr. skeltal

Post sexy keyboards
...
...
...
Its a shame that no one designs computers with nice aesthetics anymore. Now everything has to minimal and glossy
pretty much all of the old honeywell keyboards look sexy
>WHO ARE YOU
I came.
1965 SA is live if anyone is interested
holy shit I just raised the tiny feet of my hhkb for the first time in a year and I can type better!
Fuck!
enjoy your tendinitis
awesome colors, horrible font
How'd I do? ~$50 With knockoff blues
>$50
What kb is that?
Ajazz ak33 rgb
I almost bought that one, ended up buying lolita spyder by nopoo. How's that one feel?
Kinda new to mkg shit, have a corsair and another Korean knockoff. I really like the 75% layout, and I'm one of those dummies who love rgb so I'm happy. I'm still bottoming out hard, might need greens or just to relearn how to type.
>I'm still bottoming out hard
I thought that was normal. I have reds and I clack the shit out of them.
Heard it's normal with reds because you don't have tactile or audible feedback when the switch actuates, with blues it gives you both around halfway yet I still bottom out really hard
/mkg/ers with custom layout keyboards, where'd you get the plate done?
are there wooden keycaps? If there are, aren't they brittle?
There's bamboo for sure
I like the font. What would you have preferred? This is the standard one for SP I think.
can look into lasergist.com
it's where I'll probably get a plate done soon
yes there are, and yes they are
I don't want to think about a price of such a thing kek
Thinking of getting an aluminum case for my Leopold FC660 to match this when it gets here in March or whenever.
So you're one of the 260+ idiots who bought them.
State your reasons.
I like solid aluminum and the case design. I currently use a numpad in my left hand with much of the keys locked out. 10 keys is enough for me to bind to my Photoshop hotkey needs and swap to a second layer for arrows and more hotkeys as needed while I keep a pen in my right hand. If the Van numpad thing didn't look so plain I would've gone for that, but this has come up.
I hope you die before it gets delivered to your door.
Perfection follows precision
not either of you but what the fuck is up with that bezel? it's nearly the size of the keys.
>muh retroshit maymay
Besides that, it'll match with the Surface Studio whenever that gets here.
It'll be fabulous~
>I like the font. What would you have preferred?
Actually, it's just the size of the font. I know it's muh vintage, but it looks childish.
>Yfw gat clears so light that some keys are probably being activated
We comfy now
What caps?
Most keyboards posted so far are crap.
True endgame incoming.
G20 from pmk
Too big. If I want vintage I'll stick with my microswitch
Stealth g20.
That's shit's 20% density mate
You'd be surprised by how sturdy 3D printed shit can be, despite being mostly hollow.
That's not Topre.
Tfw eshops in my country sell only Corsair, ASUS and CoolerMaster mechanical keyboard. What do?
Of course it isn't topre. Topre is a fucking piece of shit. Fucking rubber domes.
BTC Slider > Topre.
Import or get a cooler master.
Hey, so it looks like this:
>Budget
around 100$
>Location (continent at least)
EU west
>Preferred switch type
Cherry mx Red/Black
>Layout
ANSI pref, but can be ISO
>Form factor
80%
>Backlight
Nope
Try not be ignorant.
Lol ignorant how?
They are rubber domes...
BTC sliders are literally just as good and can be picked up for practically nothing. Idiot.
...
Is CM any good?
careful about those flareups, down a couple Prozacs
Yes, the non-backlit ones are made by the same OEM that makes filco boards.
Ignorance is an option these days.
>They are rubber domes
keep trying
Mechanical Keyboard Edition
i really wish they would make a blank version of that
...
>contains rubber domes
>not rubber dome because they don't use a membrane
kek
do you know any places still selling Matt3o spacebars?
I want to say I found one on but I lost it
I still have some.
as if that somehow means it sucks in anyway
like i said, keep trying
Topre users try very hard not to recognize that they paid >$200 on rubberdome keyboards.
closer to $400
It doesn't, it's a lot smoother than Cherry. On par with Gateron I would say.
The Model M uses a membrane so it isn't necessarily bad.
About to go from a HHKB JP to a normal.
They're much better than Cherry.
Are the defects very bad? I know there will be some, but I saw comments on the Massdrop saying that sometimes the spacebar would not even fit in.
...
I don't need to try... You paid a lot for rubber domes. It's hilarious. BTC sliders are basically the exact same and feel similar too and can be found sometimes for free. You and your faggot meme friends are stupid.
I would really love to have compact and silent mechanical keyboard for work, but all I've seen are either ugly, super expensive, or not available with nordic/swedish/finnish layout
ignorance
delusion
denial
if only you could actually try topre
I have tried topre, that's how I can compare it to a BTC slider. Keep up.
Didn't notice any defects on the ones that I have/had.
Looks like I have one more red one, must've sent the rest to qb. Though I think you can also find them on taobao.
O-rings make a big difference and reduce the harsh bottoming out.
youtube.com
>Memeforce RGB
I wouldn't mind the sliders though
I would love to see a normal HHKB update with USB 3.0 and some pcb features like Korean customs have but I don't expect that.
you sent me a blue and white one, i sent the white one to nick
realforce is so conservative, the RGB was a surprise
Any idea of which of these is made by matt3o
or are they just different sellers
world.taobao.com
world.taobao.com
world.taobao.com
at a lower price and with different colors, can anyone explain these?
world.taobao.com
You know matt3o had those spacebars made by a chink manufacturer?
Nothing stopping them from continuing to make them.
>tfw Novatouch arriving in the mail
I know Im gonna have to mod the shit out of it just to make it on par with a real Topre but...
at least Ill have the most riced out Topre
will it be fully programmable tho
>most riced
>not Memeforce RGB
Out of list, are these sellers the two highest rated
world.taobao.com
world.taobao.com
If so, I'll probably order a few from them and throw the shitty ones out.
you cant rice the keycaps on a regular topre tho :^)
>RGB is rice
The Realforce RGB has MX stems.
elitekeyboards.com
mechanicalkeyboards.com
Not that expensive either.
>Not that expensive either.
>near $300 with shipping
>$260
my novatouch was 150 plus another 50 for keycaps and silencing pads
its still a fuckton but that is even more of a fuckton
>Budget
120€
>Location
EU west
>Preferred switch type
MX Red
>Layout
ISO
>Form factor
100%
>Backlight
Yes, but not too bright or RGB
Matt3o spacebars you say?
>mfw 4€ for the whole lot
>mfw got them in 2 days since i live 300km from Matt3o
Sexy as fuck.
Just get them on Aliexpress m8, much easier
Although of the 4 or 5 I got one was scratched a bit on the side
Damn dudes, I should have sold my extras back in April or whatever after the first massdrop run, when people who missed it were paying like $10-$15 a pop.
