Sweden, no carrier, budget around $350, possible to extend budget.
Moto X Force

I'm buying myself a phone for christmas, that others will chim in on, probably up to around $350 at most.
With that budget I initially bought a Moto X Force during black friday, but after reading about how easily it scratches, I really just want to return it. Whatever it does better in specs on other phones don't really matter, since it has no durability. I'm not an avid gamer on the phone, only game I actually play is Hayday, but who knows, maybe there'll be fun games some day.

So, I've been thinking about what other phone i should get.
As for now, the only real competitor close to the same price point is Nexus 5X, either 16GB (2869 sek) or 32GB (3110 sek). I do care about Camera, and Honor 7, moto G4 Plus has bad ones.

Additionally, I put some thoughts out and adding $100 for a Nexus 6P (3789 sek / 22% over 5X 32GB). But that's a lot of money, for something that may not last me all that much longer.
I was also thinking of an extra $150 for a OnePlus 3T, but I then figured I won't actually get it in time for christmas, and while it'll probably last me quite a few years, it's a lot of money. So I don't think I'll go this route, even though it appears to be a really good and long lasting phone.

What should I do?
In my mind it's Nexus 5X vs Nexus 6P, kind o

IPS or omelette screen?

If that's your choices, go 6P.

i'm waiting for the last phone model so I never have to feel like I have to upgrade

X Force is old, has a shit battery, and SD808 is an overheating crap of a SoC.

G4+ has a great camera, not sure what are you on.
androidpolice.com/2016/07/19/moto-g4-review/

>The Moto G4 camera is just okay, but the G4 Plus punches above its weight. The new camera app is much improved.

6P is overpriced.

Don't want to argue, but just some of my concerns with it.

5X has the same camera as 6P, so I'm not actually getting a better camera.
But, more RAM and spec, larger display with higher resolution, and AMOLED... Maybe it's worth it.

I don't know how long my phone will last, I'm not a person who buys a new phone every year or anything, so I'm really thinking about the longevity compared to price a bit.

Is rooting that important compared to the past? Does everyone still root their phones?

Does the G4+ perform as well as 5X, when it comes to camera though?

It's a lot cheaper, so maybe I'd go with that then... But that's like reducing the value of my Christmas presents, since I'm pretty much only getting a phone.

HOW DO U PIRATE GAMES & APPS ON THE S7 EDGE

Extend a bit and get a OP3(T) if you're the type that uses phones for years it will become obsolete much later

Oh, and this

>6P is overpriced.
Moto G4+ 16GB - $268
Nexus 5X 16GB - $310
Nexus 5X 32GB - $336
Nexus 6P 32GB - $410

A bit of the problem is, if I buy the Moto G4+, I'm under budget, and I won't save any money on going under budget.
Somewhat tempted to go Nexus 6P, just because of Amoled, more ram, and bigger screen.

Problem with that is that I won't get it in time for christmas, it could be 1-2 months after christmas... And I don't think that's a good way to have people buy into your christmas present, that you don't have at christmas.

It's a lot because of it that I'm more hesitant with Nexus 6P.
The price difference isn't that huge, but the performance difference is really large. Making the 6P have pretty poor price/quality.

Read some horror stories:
reddit.com/r/Nexus6P/

It's crap IMHO. 5x is even worse with all the bootloops.

OK guys, my HTC One M7 is on its last legs.

Is it even worth it to buy any of the current flagships or is the next generation behind the corner? They seem pretty weak desu senpai

why is she so perfect

I'm running CM13 and I flashed gapps nano on a clean installation.

Is there a way I can flash pico over the existing gapps without having to do another clean install?

Why do people always lock their phones?
It's fucking pathetic, this society is out of trust
My honor8 doesnt even allow me to use fingerpint if I dont have unlock password

Has /spg/ switched to supporting the Pixel yet or is it still considered overpriced?

>why can't I read my friend's messages

I use a lock because niggers exist, and in case my phone gets stolen I can remotely wipe it before they get to my credit card numbers, dropbox files, passwords and emails.

>overpriced
No user, no one can put a price on that chin

arstechnica.com/security/2016/11/1-million-android-accounts-compromised-by-android-malware-called-gooligan/

>he fell for the maldroid meme

Ok, I think I'm going for the Nexus 6P.
If I'm making a bad decision, do tell me.

I like the good camera, large AMOLED display, and the hardware seem to be good enough to last me a couple or a few years.

>he will buy more than a year old phone
what's wrong with you?

zmax pro or stylo 2 +? only like a $20 difference

>SD810°C housefire
>Malfunctioning battery
>AMOLEL burn in
Are you stupido? get a Zuk Z2 or OP3T.

Zmax.

Opinions on xiaomeme redmi 3s?

Those things sound like they'd be covered by warranty.

Has an unfixable network bug. get the Redmi 4 Prime instead.

Opinions on xiaomeme mi note 2?

Thanks.

They're not
Thanks LG

Is this good?

Doesn't AMOLED burn in happen on all AMOLED devices?

What am I supposed to get then?
Every single phone seem to have some major flaws.

What's bad with Nexus 5X?
Or am I supposed to get Moto G4+?

And I won't buy something from aliexpress or lightinthebox, like that Zuk Z2 you suggested.

Yeah it just happens after more than two years on newer panels. Long time after most people bought a new one.

iPhone 7

ZUK z2 can be bought from GearBest. They usually have European warehouses. They accept PayPal.

thx

Is this the one?
gearbest.com/cell-phones/pp_356969.html

Looks like it has same specs as op3t

Lg G3, Redmi note 3 pro, or something else?

I want a decent mid range device that will last

>"SD808 is an overheating crap"
>suggest the g4+ IED

Motorola shill, 4 $ have been deposited to your account.
The g4+ is notoriously one of the most overheating phones around.

That's the pro with more ram/storage, slightly better camera, bigger screen and a little less battery. The non pro is gearbest.com/cell-phones/pp_364276.html

Just bought a redmeme note 3 pro. 64 gig, 3gb ram, + cover and screen protector= 200$ shipped, english rom, no custom taxes.

I can't believe I fell for the meme.

The alternatives were:
-laghonor 5x
-motorhell G4(00 Fahrenheit) +

The others i found at that price either had memetek inside or were too small.

not LG

flosmall.com/products/lenovo-zuk-z2-pro?variant=20120953222

Add EU Customs Insurance.

Anything but LG.

Lel a ZUK z2 would have been the same with much better specs despite battery.

>Eu customs insurance
Unnecessary regarding GearBest
They claim it's a 30$ phone on the package

Fuck off manlet lenovo shill.

Nope

Customs (in Sweden and Germany at least) figured that out years ago, they give fines if the package is not declared to the correct value.

Nothing wrong with going with the pro one then?

The camera seem to be pretty bad on the zuk though... Which is kind of a big deal.

Worked for krautfag me

>$376 on gb
>$358 on flosmall
It's still cheaper on flosmall, even with the $6 customs protection.

>a ZUK z2
you missed the part where I said

>The others i found at that price either had memetek inside or were too small.
> were too small.
Maybe it's good for you manlets, but I can barely tap a button on phones smaller than 5'5

If you have the shekels sure. I'm not taking alot of pics just wanted best value.
Oh okay
Lel the individual buttons are like 1mm bigger on 5.5".

Can you add on screen buttons or do you have to use the meme home button for recent apps and back?

Can you take another picture, on like a teddy bear or something, from a meter or two?

I wanna see what portraits look like.

It says ROM there...

On the reviews of the non-pro on bearbest, some people said that you could end up being unable to use google play store, because of some dumb thing because it's not original system.

forum.xda-developers.com/zuk-z2-pro/help/home-recents-buttons-t3435095
Yes you can. But it's comfy imo. You can add things like play pause or open apps with it.

If you can't figure out how to flash CM13 or RR you should just buy a normie phone like the OP3T.

That's so grainy and washed out.

Back to not knowing what to pick.
Honestly, starting to think Nexus 5X is the best option now, unless that too has some horrid issue like Nexus 6P.

Camera is more important than hardware for me.

It's the non pro running a custom ROM buddy

>N5X
Shit battery and they are all starting to bootloop as is tradition by a phone made by LG.

androidauthority.com/nexus-5x-android-7-nougat-bootloop-issue-717698/

techtimes.com/articles/186940/20161125/lg-cant-fix-nexus-5x-bootloop-issue-so-its-offering-full-refunds.htm

If you care about cameras so much get a P9 or Honor 8. excellent cameras and good performance.

Camera sample from the pro

capacitive > on-screen

The 5x shouldn't be on anyone's consideration list. It's a fail not only for google but also LG. Don't bother.

What street is that, it looks beautiful.

Yeah too bad it doesn't have those. would've been perfect but oh well.

I still don't understand the hype over "amazing phone cameras", like no matter what you do, they're still fucking horrendous for anything more than social media - we've reached a point where even $50 phones take good enough images for social media.

Meanwhile, most phones these days have horrendous call quality. Yay.

I guess Honor 8 then.

Nothing wrong with it? I kinda wanna order it now so I have everything done.

Yeah buy locally if you can.

prisjakt nu/produkt.php ? p=3796381

Redmi note 4 (high) or redmi 4 prime? Are they basically the same besides size?

Huawei have absolutely shit software

No.
RN4=5.5" Mediakek X20
R4P=5" SD625

That seem like a nitpick compared to all the issues the other phones have...

So much more expensive that way, I'll just go with the cheapest one (mobilyx is estonian).

amazon.it/dp/B01J0RYDPQ?tag=kimovil01-21

See if they send to the Swedish caliphate.

Just got my HTC 10. Shit's pretty good. Solid build and everything runs like butter now compared to my old phone.

Is that quick-charge shit safe for the phone's battery though?

>shit software
>seem like a nitpick
lol no

Yes, it's safe. Personally though, I wouldn't use it mostly because I don't need things to be charged quickly routinely. It's good on those days where you forgot to charge your phone in the morning or something tho.

Is mediatek horseshit? Never heard of it

because huawei has the best design teams

by January the software will be great with the emui 5 nougat update. Its probably the best camera in its pricerange if that is really important to you

>she

kind of, but sometimes their chips are in excellent value phones and perform really well, though if you care about custom roms stick to snapdragon

It's not horseshit but also not worth the like $20 you save by choosing MT over SD.

>huge bottom bezel
>just have a logo on it
ugh

my waifu

still better screen-body ratio and aesthetics than the iphone and pixel

>still better
nah, about the same intensity of garbage

what are your favorite designs if you dont mind me asking then?

OPX, Mi Mix, Krzr, Bold 9900, and One M8.

>tfw I fell for the 810 house fire meme and gaymoled burning meme simultaneously

is the s7 edge a good phone

Posted from my Galaxy S7 Edge

how come whenever i install an android game from Happy Chick and trqy to open it, it says "unfortunately [app] has stopped"

Because your'e a cheap negroid thief.

>Ordered honor 8

Is there any other huawei phone that honor 8 will fit for?
