Where do you keep the taskbar?

Where do you keep the taskbar?
Top, bottom, left or right?

I would argue having it at the top is the most efficient

Why do you think that?
I've always have it on the bottom, but I'm curious

bottom and hidden, on my laptop running arch I have awesome with a taskbar up top that just has some system info and the time.

I would argue that you're a faggot, but we all know it's true.

Because in every program, they have all the option shit at the top.
Gives you less travel distance.

Bottom so I can hit my tabs by just flinging my cursor to the top of the screen without much precision needed.

Top. Too used to all my menu items at the top, thanks ubuntu

I have my task bar to the right... i am right handed. If you think about it...you read top down and then left right.

Most functions of programs require you to use a scroll bar. Scroll bar on the right and taskbar on the right makes it even more convenient.

Plus if you are power user you can have 20 apps running in the minimized taskbar.

...

Seems like a waste of space.

OS default

Keep my dock on the left side, macOS.

No task bar.

Right side
I like vertical space more than horizontal
Sorta why I'm debating on a 16:10 screen but eh

I don't find myself moving between the menubar and the taskbar often.
This makes more sense to me.

left, vertical space and what said

Bottom where it belongs. Side taskbars are for contrarian memers.

Windows + R for the win.

i have no task bar

not even once

Right side + global menu = the most space efficient way. Unity is good in this aspect because it's like that by default.

Right. The difference is minor but it does free up some vertical screen space.

Most monitors have a 16:9 aspect ratio, this means they are wider than they are tall.

Try harder user?

>implying I use a taskbar

...

Why is your start button dark?

Because that's his highlight color.

Because he's hovering over it.

Oh

Do you realy need all those addons on the address bar? You should move them to the burger menu.

Top but I normally use shortcuts for navigation.

Left, hidden. There it's quickly accessible, not in the way and even the UI seems to agree with me, since it fits so perfectly there.

>Gives you less travel distance.

Use winkey + numbers you unbearable old man.

bottom for single monitor
left and right for dual screen
