Its pointless publicity.
They belong to some do nothing equality committee, and their insurance policy is friendly towards civil unions. Thats really all it is.

Good publicity, having an outward appearance of being hostile to minority groups would be scaring away talent.

You are 14 or smth? There are alternatives to 2 extremes, such as... hm... being neutral?

Not saying I agree with it but AMD has the right to acknowledge endorsements like this. In this case it doesn't do them any harm and might attract talent. It's always good to have your name out there as long as its not attached to something bad.

>Buying from faggy companies like AYYMD & APPLEL
>any year

...

amd just gets funnier as time goes on.

so what, just ignore the gays and weird trannies; most places you'd get suspended or fired for calling somebody a faggot.

you don't understand, user

this is Sup Forums dot org, a Sup Forums-dominated website where it's pretty much a requirement to shit on anything that isn't a straight male Caucasian of whatever ethnicity

you cant say shit like that without getting stoned

Next AMD will make non binary chips.

>why?
because to work at trendy companies like Google and AMD you have to be a mentally ill liberal. you are not allowed to hold other views publicly.

Hahahahahaha
oh. you're serious.
Hahahahahaha

Publicity

Everyone knows you can only create truly worthy products if you have guys in dresses roaming the halls of your business.

It's good if they make it a fine work environment for them, it's bad if they hire them because muh LGBT.

Ternary chips are the way of the future.

Who here is saving up for his 1024 core ternary processor?

>minority groups
>talent
lmao

>2 extremes
>merely supporting civil rights is an extreme

What?

I'm sure AMD is just doing it for publicity, but who cares? That's their prerogative, and it's not harming anybody.

>merely supporting civil rights is not an extreme
>That's their prerogative, and it's not harming anybody.

That's the thing, modern progressivism DOES harm people. Look at Brenden Eich. He once donated money to a ballot measure opposing gay marriage and was fired for it by Mozilla.

He donated money to a ballot measure opposing gay marriage. YEARS AGO.

That's literally all he did, and he got fired by the PC Patrol not because of something he brought to work, but a political position which was the actual popular position at that time.
