>AMD Radeon Software Crimson ReLive Edition Going To Be A Massive Update For Red Team – Launching on 8th December.
>The new Crimson Relive Edition update brings a number of new features and enhancements to a wide range of AMD Radeon GPU and APU products. The latest update is a accumulation of all Radeon Software Crimson releases into one package, offering a dramatic increase in performance through software optimization. AMD RTG has done a great job with the new Crimson drivers and their dedication to support their customers with excellent drivers for their products has really shown off.
but did they make the OpenGL good enough for PS2 emulation yet

>Its another "Pajeets overhype something about AMD, whos products have consistently been trash for the past 5 years" thread
Parker Richardson
It'll never be good enough.
Parker Bennett
Their marketing slides sure are nice looking.
Jackson Long
I wonder what they'll break this time. Was the fan bug last time lmao, so glad I don't waste my time with any AMD products
Henry Nguyen
Tbh nothing new. Radeon Chill would've been interesting if it wasn't limited to litle to no games.
Jayden Evans
Is it still going to include that godwaful Gaming Evolved thing that nobody uses because it crashes games? When is AMD going to come up with something as good as Shadowplay?
Easton Turner
>re-skin of Catalyst
wow its fucking nothing
Luis Wilson
Read the text, retard.
Jose Long
Fucking morons.
Adrian Roberts
>amd is actually making their drivers better >nvidia is still fucks things over Why
Asher Morris
AMD: >we must improve Nvidia: >who gives a shit, goys will buy it whatever we do.
amd is an icecream booth compared to nvidia-s shopping center, therefore their progress is slower.
Kevin Thomas
Don't feel sorry goyim... 1080Ti lava edition is coming up next ;-}
Bentley Young
Titan X(P) isn't even that impressive an improvement over 1080, and 1080 Ti is only supposed to be midway between them. Are we supposed to care about this for any reason besides a hopeful drop in 1080 prices?
Benjamin Reyes
>AMD hype thread >Wccftech article
every time
Thomas Wood
What do you mean Nvidia is still killing AMD in every aspect
you're seriously gonna believe a Pajeet tech article?
Michael Long

Lucas Reed
...
Gavin Adams
this. GPU drivers should drop opengl altogether anyway.
Isaac James
We've actually been able to use AMD's hardware encoding via a plugin for OBS Studio.
But what is this gpu chill shit? lower input lag? how. I need someone to put this into english.
>amd made a bad clone of a tool nvidia had 4 years ago
what a waste of money and engineering time, amd are fucking retarded. shadowplay is literally only used by ignorant gaymers too dumb to set up OBS, they should have focused instead on removing the perf impact that using VCE while gaymen creates.
Jace Long
Why would I care what some indian who doesn't know what a 4-way associative victim cache is without looking it up? Ergo, someone completely clueless about hardware or software design has no business talking about anything.
Aaron Walker
>Launching on 8th December.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME AND MY RX 480!!!!
Owen Green
-Intel chooses AMD over nVidia -Zen in 9 days -New drivers 2017 year of AMD nVidiots on suicide watch
Aiden Walker
Nvidia is total ownage in cars and deep learning, AMD has no chance
Anthony Morris
Can OBS do replay buffer?
Thomas Butler
>cars Lol
Deep learning is a real good and profitable field, but Nvidia also has nothing in emeded, which is a field they'd gladly want to penetrate.
Once again
>cars Lel
Ryan Morgan
Not to mention digital signage and semi-custom silicon, AMD is spread far wider than Nvidia.
Mason King
>AMD is spread far wider than Nvidia.
lol what? except for the consoles they have no market outside the gaymer market. AMD has never been able to compete outside of it.
Jaxon Russell
Please shut up you fucking idiot.
Ayden Fisher
Their embedded shit does sell quite a bit, from what I heard. Especially their Geodes and G series, yeah?
Isaac Lewis
>don't tell me the truth or else i'll call you an idiot
(((liberal))) detected.
Samuel Evans
AMD's revenue on embeded and custom silicon is twice that of its graphics division, you are absolutely fucking clueless.
Digital signage is big for them (the system what puts a McDonald's menu up on all those screens at once, for example), as are casino gaming installations. Other stuff like that.
I just hope I can use the new ones without getting driver crashes and bluescreens like I do with any AMD driver from the last 4 months.
Oh, and the shitty playstv that I had to uninstall. Just copy shadowplay, AMD. That's all we want.
Aaron Johnson
Let us not forget that recent news about them releasing hardened industrial computers and signage systems in aviation industries.
Cooper Powell
Learn to read or leave.
Connor Lewis
They don't bundle playstv any longer with the last couple of drivers. How old was your installation package you were using?
Grayson Perry
I never knew how stupid the average nvidiot actually was until I watched this video
They are the true goyim; they fall for the marketing hook, line, and sinker
Leo Perry
You know it's because they have such a budget to chuck at it? They got -incredibly- lucky with their chipsets for Maxwell but they are literally a shit tip company in all other areas? Driver support especially, and the way they purposefully prevent free/openGL development or nerf AMD cards with nVidia sponsored games is frankly disgusting.
You're American, you should understand the benefits of market competition, you (and the rest of Sup Forums) should be throwing money at AMD or nVidia gets the monopoly over consumer cards and progress stagnates.
Jose Phillips
>not showing the FPS and frame-timing data
Oliver Brooks
>hardened industrial computers I didn't know they got into this? Is it related to extreme temperature operations or radiation hardening? I doubt it's about them making toughbooks like Panasonic.
Jayden Johnson
Conservitard detected, promptly BTFO
Evan Richardson
ive tried all the latest ones and they're shit so im on 16.7.2
Cooper Peterson
Lol you know the current release is 16.11.5?
Blake Russell
lol rekt
Logan Thomas
What is it that is not working on the newest drivers? Have you sent them a bug report on their site?
Colton Jenkins
>When is AMD going to come up with something as good as Shadowplay? I often forget Plays.TV is running when playing games. And I'm not restricted to just 10 minutes of play either.
Who the fuck uses Catalyst anymore?
David Jackson
>nvidiots simply don't know what they're buying Really is true though, even if the products are mostly equal at this point
John Brown
Kek, 20 times less profit than Intel what AMD makes is pointless
HAHAHAHA
Landon Jenkins
Which card?
Aiden Reyes
Yep! Sure do. I'm sticking with this for now since it works.
I constantly get driver crashes at the desktop not even doing anything. If it doesn't recover in time it leads to a BSOD citing atikmpag.sys. Very, very annoying when trying to get anything done. No amount of DDUing and reinstalling has done anything.
Haven't sent a bug report, because it is already well known with lots of people mad about it.
Two sapphire 390x
Zachary Moore
>a fucking press release for driver updates
you can't make this shit up
Wyatt Howard
Throwing money at AMD because you hate NVIDIA is not competition, it's fanboyism. Buying the objectively best product for your use within your budget is competition. As things stand now, AMD essentially doesn't even compete at all at the high-end level, they only compete in the mid range segment and below.
Jason Parker
>Instant replay Fucking finally
Carson Ross
I wonder how badly the 470 will BTFO the 6GB 1060?
Christian Sanders
Update your ancient drivers or stop bitching. I'm running dual 480s and I haven't had a problem at all. Well, other than xFire not being supported by anything I want to play. Though it does work well for data crunching.
Jeremiah Jackson
fuck yes im hype
>runs to 390x
Wyatt Williams
>290 >trash that card was fucking amazing for 2013 though
Austin Scott
Why would I update if updating makes it not work, retard? I'm going to continue using what WORKS flawlessly and doesn't crash. I've already tried the others.
Bentley Watson
At least AMD has good drivers
Nvidias have been getting consistently worse since 2014
Parker Myers
>At least AMD has good drivers At least as long as you don't want to use CF.
Benjamin Allen
>2200 RPM Holy shit that's insane.
Isaac Gomez
>Indian He's Scottish you ignorant American.
Gabriel Hughes
It's still respectable, although people overlook it for the warmed up 300 series that takes its place in benchmarks.
>dat heat tho
Tyler Brooks
great i can't wait for this to ruin my PC even more
Isaac Richardson
Raptr has been dropped for several driver updates now.
ReLive has something akin to shadowplay built in but with more features.
Please learn to read you retard.
Nathaniel Cox
i keep trying to tell these kids about the 290 and 290x but noooo they're scared of buying used and keep on buying 400 dollar cards that are marginally better instead.
Jace Sanders
kek that website is pure cancer. their leaked benchmarks are a good laugh
Thomas Diaz
This graph is 110% bullshit, jesus.
t. AMD owner
ebay didn't seem to mind, got 167€ for my old 290 in October.
Camden Gonzalez
>Radeon&Chill for microstutter as soon as you sprint >WoW relevant for power consumption >WoW relevant at all
Jackson Rivera
will they actually finally enable h.265 encoding with this shit?
h.264 encoding on Polaris is gimped with no b-frames, so they need to get their house in order with the new codec.
Charles Mitchell
Doesn't matter since for that price you would get a 480 8Gig.
Landon Lewis
>WattMan for Fury
Neat I guess.
Nathaniel Gutierrez
Let me know when I can get a real upgrade from a HD 7950
Do you remember the Chinese having a Savage deal with them
Also Apple.
And more recently HP and Google.
Theyre fucking stock went from $1.70ish when i bought $3.5k, to $9.45 currently just picture that.
Even if Zen is dogshit i still get gut.
Gavin Bailey
Omega and Crimson were amazing releases, this whole year AMD had fantastic drivers.
Cooper White
nvidia has two things.
cuda compute for universities and gaming
amd has 80% of corporations intel, apple,hp, google, hollywood recently, sony, microsoft, china deal, and 90% of data centers use amd cpus where they don't need compute
