Nah man.

Love waiting forever for my documents to print.

Dot Matrix printing is superior. If your printer don't take continous feed paper with holes on the side then you have a shit printer.

You might wait a long time, but you will have a product that have been worked on to perfection.

Don't forget the lovely noise

Eh, the speed I can't handle, the noise I kind of like.

That said, I also never had to sit in an office all day listening to that noise.

I know it's a pain in the ass waiting for our pretty fast laser printers to print in the office. Can only imagine waiting for dot matrix.

Found this article from 1998.

Better slowness and noise than getting jewed on the price of ink and cartridges.

>your printer's ink is twice as expensive as human blood

>tfw fell for the laserjet meme
>tfw superior printing for all of my pirated pdf textbooks

That is an outdated printer. Here is how a new dot matrix does. By the way, from on to printing 5 seconds, even for a thirty or twenty year old printer, thats pretty good.

>he has to print documents
...

And even superior printing for PDFs with scalable fonts and vector graphics.

Why did 24-pin printers disappear?

A white person's blood or a minority?

You'll find out when you have to deliver reports or assignments.

I do and everything is done by internet, welcome to the first world.

>disappear?
I don't understand what you mean.. You had a sudden influx of inkjet printers which were quiet and dirt cheap, people bougth new ones every time they'd need ink because they're cheaper than the ink for the printer itself.

I think dot matrix price just was expensive when compared to inkjets, and people buy what's cheaper, and not everyone needs a printer so they just get something to do them for the while they need it.

>I also never had to sit in an office all day listening to that noise.

It was not too much bother... The sounds from the computers made the printing sounds hardly noticeable.

I mean the 24-pin dot matrix printers. It's rare to see one of them today

>using the outdated %current year% meme

>i do and everything is done by internet, welcome to the first world.
What happens when the internet is down?

Hopefully you will keep this humour under the scalpel too.

Got an old Laserjet 4l and a JetDirect print server when I need somehting printed. Found an old unopened toner cartridge in a thrift store too.

4G or free wifi everywhere
