Yes but not because of the news you posted. Similar exploits exist for w**dows ten

I'm actually not sure who would win in a cuck-off, mac or win10 users...

patched in 12.2

wincucks of course

I don't have a login password on my 2016 MacBook pro. I should be safe right?

You can disable that though. Only retards who don't set up right suffer though that.

Man, if they have physical access ti your machine you are fucked anyway.

You can't steal what is not there

>filevault 2

why does this sound like some old apple tech from 10 years ago that is no longer relevant? yay, you hacked old tech, gg.

>$280 of the cost is the thunderbolt to PCI-e adaptor

>linux users can be infected by literally opening a folder with an mp3
>try to damage control and focus on something else

Fuck you cuck

This vulnerability has already been patched, and is no longer relevant.

Who cares? I have Debian and it just works.

Doesn't work on my machine.

The Apple MacBook Pro with Retina Display doesn't have this problem.

>and it just works.
>Doesn't work on my machine.
Pick one, faggot.

>assumption based on the name of the tech
>"wow, in the world i make up in my head, you did nothing! what a fucking waste of time!"
Filevault 2 is Apple's current whole-disk encryption method. The fact that it's cracked this easily is actually extremely relevant, at least to people with any sensitive data stored on their drive.

so it's all just a ruse to get people to store their data on apple's servers.

more encouraging people to use actually trusted, well-tested encryption
I'd honestly doubt that anyone worried about this would trust apple's servers

>(((disable)))
but which files can I delete to remove this botnet?

Your Botnet OS has to be "Pro" to be able to disable that shit

That image doesn't make much sense to me. Reason being that they don't just stop selling the iphone 6s when the 7 drops. Seems to me like they would at least have it do well for as long as they support the thing, and once they cease support, THEN have it slow down. Why support the iPhone 5 if it's going to hurt apple's image in comparison to other phones?

I mean, sure it may not run as fast, as iOS 10 wasn't designed around the iPhone 5, but if it would harm the experience (which is what apple sells), why not just cut off the support?

>>buy a overpriced device that looks the same as everyone elses
>i am unique

shit was patched as of 10.12.2 and a ton of other computers with thunderbolt have the same vulnerability

Friend paid 600 dollars for a 32GB iPhone

I paid 100 dollars for a Samsung and 25 bucks for a 128GB microsd

Why don't people demand iPhones have expandable memory? DO they not know about sd cards?

>>>buy a overpriced OS that's the same as everyone else uses
Oh, you mean Windows? That's called 90% of the market.

What? You just turn off windows update in services

Shhh! Don't tell MS or they will remove services.msc in one of the next updates.

I remember some postings/news when lightning or USB 3 was announced, something along the lines of "SCSI basically had access to the computer's RAM and everything, now they are doing the same mistake again"
