assange implied debian was nsa owned
install gentoo
By owned he meant slang. As in Debian is their btich.
He he, booby.
Anyway, if you're stupid enough to be tricked into downloading malicious software, you're not going to be helped much by any patch.

Gentoo is available for install too
There is none. China uses a modified version of Ubuntu, I highly doubt that it's backdoored by the NSA. The NSA probably has some serious zero days on every distro.
I did.
It didn't recognize my Wifi-bluetooth adapter or my GPU.
Fuck Debian.
windows used to do something similar. they would send your memory dumps to redmond when programs crashed. unencrypted.
Is this why people hate on Debian? Seems like a pleb barrier to me.
Because they are too stupid to figure out how to activate the non-free repos and install proprietary drivers.
Holy shit I've been getting daily crash reports for like a week now. Should I be worried? :(
I don't think I was stupid enough to download any weird file.
what programs and/or unofficial repos/ppas are you using user, im really curious since i do not have any crashes ever.
I've also been getting inexplicable "system error" messages for about the same length of time. Sometimes a blue blob, usually two or three non-blob text boxes on startup.
Could be a coincidence, but if other people coincidentally have the same problem in the same time period, this might become suspicious.
How is that similar? That didn't give an attacker root on your machine by eval'ing arbitrary code.
wtf I had this too
Should I be worried? My machine hasn't been acting weird
>hardened gentoo
>not solus
Yet the FSF and Stallman don't consider Debian a free (as in freedom) distro because Debian 'makes it easy to install non-free sofrware'.
>not using *BSD
Just asking for trouble.
>linux has no viruses
l m a o
Just propaganda misinfo to stop normies from using the most reliable and user friendly Linux distro and thus chaining them to Windows forever

ftfy
time to uninstall the desktop environment
I'm the first user. I was getting gnome-software crashes on startup even though the machine was working normal.
I googled it and it seems to be a new bug on ubuntu, was reported like a week ago. Anyway, I just upgraded everything and rebooted and the crash report didnt come up this time, maybe try doing that.
The Apple MacBook Pro with Retina Display doesn't have this problem.
I run noobuntu headless as a media server. It doesn't seem to matter a while bunch imo. Manjaro w/Xfce on my desktop. Passthrough of course.

Actually that's just for citizens to use. The government uses a custom made distro just like Russia has.
Yeah because even his autistic ass expects people to be smart enough to copy and paste a link into a file.
>that didn't give an attacker root on your machine
There were, and still are, many easy ways of obtaining root on Windows.
Welcome to Debian. Remember to respect the less privileged individuals and wait for your turn to speak.
>malicious software
apport-gtk opens any file beginning with 'ProblemType:'. You don't have to download software.
Donncha wish your girlfriend was hot like me?
