Scroll wheel's finally gone, what's a good replacement? Looking for some similar in dimensions and slightly heavier. Avago sensors are a plus.

there is no replacement, but there are alternatives.
G402 is somewhat close in shape, but different enough that you might get mad. It works, but it's not the same.
G403 is something I cannot comment on, but it seems to be solid.
G502 is a pile of shit and you should stay away from it.
Or you can grab an MX518/G400/G400s from some ebay seller. They're expensive now, though
>replacement for a G400
such is life, all good things must come to an end.
Got the sensei raw after my mx518.
Feels pretty good mang
Disgusting logishit plebs.
Buy a fucking Zowie.
Shit laser sensor.
How's Zowie better?
>no shitty drivers that introduce input lag
>superior ergonomics
>extremely solid build
>perfect sensors
>better switches
My G400 is finally starting to die, reconnects very often for no apparent reason.
recommend me a zowie mouse that has a sensor as good (or better?) as a G400, then, I need a new one
Did you have mice from both to back that shit up?
If I had trump sized hands I might consider one.
Yes.
Had various Logitech mice including the G5 and G500 which were miles ahead from the build quality of modern Logitech mice.
Had Steelseries mice including the Kinzu and Sensei.
Had Microsoft and Razer mice, too.
It all depends on your type of grip.
Take a look on the zowie website, they all use the same sensor.
The FK is a solid all-rounded choice.
That's no excuse. I have a FK1 atm and even though it's a small mouse for my hand, it's really really ergonomic for me.
Plus, FKs come in three different sizes nowadays.
Are there any other brands better than Logitech incase I can't find a Zowie mouse?
open up the G400 and re-connect the cable. If that doesn't help, buy a new cable on ebay.
Eh, the steelseries rival line is okay. But they have shitty rubber thumb rests that fall apart after 6 months and they also have shitty drivers.
Finalmouse comes to mind. They're pretty good. But if you can't find Zowie wherever you live, I doubt you'll can find those.
All in all, if you can't find Zowie at least buy a decent Logitech like the G403 prodigy.
Thanks user, shit African tier third world country so geuss not.
worked. not sure why I didn't think of doing that. thanks user
Contact customer support, say the mouse keeps disconnecting, give them the number on the bottom of your mouse, recieve free mouse
They don't make the G400 anymore so I doubt this would work, but worth a try
It does, they told me it was out of production so they gave me a g402 instead.
Go Zowie or SteelSeries Rival.
Logitech is a fucking husk of its former self. Every Logitech piece of shit I've bought in the last several years broke or died in under a year. They went to shit as fast as their new logo.
Fuck off with the zowie meme
t. zowie owner
If not Zowie then what?
I'm currently using my old logitech g400 instead of the zowie I own and if the g400 dies I will cry
What do you not like about your Zowie?
The steelseries rival is very comfy imo, either the original or the 300, not 100 or 700.
Maybe I got a shit one but the rubber cover wore off in 2 months and now it's shedding rubber whenever used. The sensor spazzes out when flicked too fast, couldn't play cs on low sens properly. Also sometimes when I booted my pc my cursor was stuck on top left corner and I had to crawl under my table to replug the mouse to fix it.
You can still buy new original G400 on ebay, though. Or on aliexpress (inb4 yeah original chinkshit).
Anyone who thinks the zowie is better than Logitech fell for the gaymer meme. Zowie is literally pushed by the e-sports marketing team, same way Nike and other expensive shoes are marketed to black youth by the NBA.
buy something without a scroll wheel to fuck up next time.
aight
That is a pain to use.
what's the G403 like compared to the old MX518/G400 shape? Is it a good alternative?
What's with the samefaging and recomending the steelseries meme??
>Or you can grab an MX518/G400/G400s from some ebay seller. They're expensive now, though
>found several brand new g400 in an office store for clearance price of $5
>sell it for $100 each
best day ever
Why not the G402?
I always hear the Logitech gaming sensors on their new lines are the top line what the fug
can I have two? 20 bucks
Yeah, what's there not to like if you end up with one that doesn't fall apart after a month? Just bad luck I geuss
Uh the g403 is basically an mx518 in design and build quality, just now with a good sensor
Sensor's better than the G402? I don't see how it justifies the price.
Yes it's said to be the best
