Maybe this question has been asked before, anyway I would appreciate some help. When I'm playing recorded videos with my phone there's a static sound in the background. It works fine whwn I'm recording and the quality is good, but when I play the video I hear this annoying noise in the background. I'm using a Huawei p8 lite by the way.

The Robin is on a ridiculous sale right now on Amazon. Has a good modding community, but the phone doesn't have a microSD slot.
I have the honor 5x and its a great phone for the price if you put CM13 on it. The stock software makes it a really shitty experience and notifications are broken on EMUI 4.1 so modding the phone is a must. It also will not be getting Nougat.
My brother has a moto g4 and its a great phone, near stock android and it will be getting nougat soon. My only knock on it is the cheap plastic its made out of. Get a good case for it if you buy this one.

What do I look for if I want a phone that lets me root it? I got burned with my ATT Galaxy S4 because ATT and Samsung filled most of my space with their shit and locked the bootloader so I can't even clean it up. I don't want that to happen again.

Ok cool. The phone I have used to be able to be rooted, but as I learned the hard way, ATT is a group of dicks and will try to lock the boot loader of every ATT version smartphone on their network.
The takeaway is to buy international versions when possible. I'd just like to know if there are any other red flags (e.g. Company X has a history of not being root-friendly)

If you liked the homosexual fashion accesory buy the SE ($400), 6's specs with 5's looks and body in 4's size, and dont update to ios 10, it breaks the phone.
If you want a real phone the same size as the 4s go for the X Compact or the Z3C, they're both around 350 dollars.

I don't really like touchjizz myself but with a decent launcher it's tolerable. That's how I've been using my S7 at least and I'm very happy with this phone.
He just needed something good for once in my opinion, his Moto G 2nd gen that I got him has developed so many software problems that don't disappear with a hard reset that I thought I'd get him a Samsung flagship as I'm happy with mine.
Whatever, it was a couple of hundred dollars cheaper than buying from retail stores so I can always just resell it on Kijiji if he doesn't like it which I really doubt.
