Just installed a fresh version of Fedora 25 since it uses Wayland and also detects switchable graphics better than any other distro.
It's great but I have one problem though - Chromium/Firefox seem to have issues with porn sites, namely BEEG and Xvideos. Beeg videos just don't play when you click on them and Xvideos download automatically.
I've installed Flash and all that, and youtube/fb/other video sites work fine
Anyone have an idea?

Use Ubuntu restricted extras on a VM
Honestly, I had Ubuntu before for 3 days and after day 2 the Package manager got broken when I just wanted to install the restricted extras.
I would not say I'm a LINUX HEXOR MASTER but I know my way around it - I used arch in the past but just got sick of not having software in the repos.
Also, AS I CLEARLY STATED, I chose Fedora 25 for switchable graphics support and Wayland.
I don't see how Ubuntu would help since when I turn on the 2ndary AMD GPU and try to log out, I get errors displayed and have to hard reboot the machine.
I had ubuntu in the past on this machine and it was the same, only solution is to disable the AMD GPU. But if I need to use an OS that limits the hardware I have I'd rather not use it?
What were you installing and on what version of Ubuntu? I've been using MATE 16.04 LTS since release and not a single problem.
And xhamster, xvideos, motherless all work fine using Firefox.

AMD support on Ubuntu is rather shit yea. Which card do you have? I had artifacts using the Free driver. They went away when I switched to the proprietary driver for my r9-390.
I know that Mate works good but as you can see from the screencap I posted I also want something that looks decent, not made by someone obsessed with fucking gray and with the design sense of a 4 yo
And to answer your question the issue with the switchable graphics card (on the same machine) I had it half a year ago on 16.04 and now on 16.10

It's not your display manager, it's you using a shitty browser. Install Chromium.

I am interested in this thread. I always used distros on which installing all the codes was either apt-get install allshitinonemetapackage or yum equivalent. Now I installed opensuse tumbleweed and I am lost like a child in a fog.

Go to RPMFusion.org add the repo and install gstreamer plugins and/or ffmpeg.
