So apparently you can downgrade from Win 10 to 7 if you have 10 pro but, do you still need a fucking Win7 license to downgrade?
I want to install Win 7 on my rig but digital river is no more
What do?

You can downgrade Win10 Pro without a Win7 Pro license. You call their activation hotline and explain, they will give you a key iirc
Have fun with SecureBoot, you'll have to turn it off beforehand if your mobo has it
you should go up ^
upgrade to Linux, it is far better at respecting your rights and privacy and freedom,
choose Linux and you choose wisely
Either torrent it or get the free student version of Windows 7. It's available as win7 pro. Just ask someone who's a student to download it for you and give you the licence code.
Why do you want to stay on windows, out of curiosity?
Play videogames
Linux is shit for gaming
Download W7 torrent.
Check hash md5 match.
Profit.
install linux, freely available and doesn't require you to get cucked by microsoft
It's not that bad, actually. This is coming from a person who uses both. The only difference is Linux has less games native to it.
Not him but OpenGL is shit even on Linux and getting 70% of the performance you'd get on Windows is considered to be an accomplishment.

I don't expect Vulkan to become mainstream for vidya either.
It really comes down to how games are optimised as well. Obviously devs will try harder to make games work better on Windows because that's where most of their profit comes from. I generally don't play games released in the past 5 years as I don't find them interesting so I don't notice any performance differences.
Are there any official downloads for Win7, I wonder?
Cause you can get Win10 from an application, which is available at microsoft.com.
Only this question - official mirror, no torrenting from another site, no images from allover the internet, thank you.
You can but you need a product key to get it
You need three things to do this:
- BIOS/UEFI must have Windows Pro license installed
- OEM certificate file (specific for your motherboard)
- OEM install key (supposedly any OEM key will work)
Get the OEM certificates here:
squidworks.net
Get the OEM keys here:
digital-forums.com
In an Administrator Command Prompt (after each command, wait for a popup message to tell you if it worked) ...
Install the OEM certificate:
slmgr.vbs –ilc certificate.xrm-ms
Install the OEM key:
slmgr.vbs –ipk xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx
Go check your activation status in the System Control Panel. You don't even need to be online.
all the theoretical bullshit means nothing if my programs dont run user-kun
Ignore all these faggots wanting you to jump through hoops to sate microsoft's paranoia. Grab a known-good W7 ISO, install DAZ loader, never think about it again.
Huh, that OEM Certificate link I posted contains some OEM keys. Neat. I got my list of keys from someone's public Google Drive. So far they've been working in all the activations I've done.
This is essentially what DAZ loader does, except it also adds a key to your BIOS. There's a chance it'll mess up your BIOS too (very rare). I only use the method I posted for legit installs and downgrades.
You can just reinstall 77, download the ISO from Mydigitallife forums.
go buy a sony playstation video games and leave the computer for Linux, windows will make you microsoft's bitch, where Linux will let you go free
>windows
>all the free time to use your OS
>linux
>a slave to the OS where you constant have to fix and pamper
You just gave up one freedom for another, and the only thing that changed was your productivity went down while an illusionary concept now comforts you.
Where should I download a Windows 7 iso?
Download an ISO here.
Then check the SHA1 hash to make sure it matches the one listed on MSDN here (do a search for Wndows 7).
msdn.microsoft.com
Every ISO I've downloaded there has been a legit match at MSDN.
