No. Only retards ever used it.
RSS is still cool. However reddit kinda killed it
What did "intelligent" users use then?
It's good as the live bookmarks feature in Firefox.
Do sites and blogs still have feeds?
You couldn't really use them in a browser since browser implementations sucked (or in the case of Firefox live bookmarks, was barely advertised), and people didn't want to download a proper RSS reader, they wanted to use their browser for everything.
That said, most mainstream media sites and blog platforms still have RSS feeds, so it's not like the format is dead, just faded into obscurity, kinda like Usenet
I'm noticing as more and more normies use smartphones all the development focus goes onto that market. Now just look at the state of projects like Firefox and Media Player Classic.
If you have a load of sites that you want to check regularly for new info, it's the only way to go. I use it plenty for comics.
BBC News does.
What the fuck are you talking about?
I use it all the time.

The fuck even I didn't notice, thanks
Same, although I do notice less and less sites offering feeds as time goes by. I find them extremely useful for keeping tabs on sites I like but wouldn't necessarily want/need to visit every day.
I can't think of any site worth visiting that doesn't have an RSS feed.
Fun fact: sometimes there's no link to the feed, but it still works when you put the website in an aggregator.
I use them all the time. Great for things like blogs where the author has no fixed posting schedule.
I don't like it for high traffic sites like news though
yeah, but some don't even advertise it.

I use RSS to manage my youtube sub's and mpv to watch them, so I can escape the botnet in some capacity
Anyone know of how I could download Youtube videos through Thunderbird via RSS? I cannot figure out how to do this.
I used to love my RSS feeds in opera but that went to shit so I'm stuck with some decent standalone and Vivaldi
Honestly wish I had more feeds for my phone
