It runs on Mac OS X.

If you're so smart, why don't you balance your hat properly?

Faster network stack x3-x10 depending on hardware.

Why is the Linux network stack so shitty?

Who is paying the bsd shills?
Nobody would hype such utter garbage for free.

It's originally concept of linux: prefer number of features over stability, speed and quality.

Nobody, some user just want back real truth after many years of lies.

it isn't. he's just retarded.

Don't lie to yourself.

this literally proves nothing.

so a user space program running on different userspace setups have different results.

literally the only positive results for BSD in that benchmark were "TCP/UDP Request Response" which is both vague and the most likely to be affected by userspace/kernelspace fuckery.

Despite this, Linux and coreutils have better quality, speed and more features than anything in the unix and unix like world. FreeBSD need more developer, but they will never got them as now OSS development is about money.

You're forgot FreeBSD use lower default value than linux and debug by default.

Quality proved by few thousands CVE per year or something else?:)

don't forget how the linux landscape seems to change every fucking minute thanks to corporate influence, meaning that people have to relearn everything

Bullshit.
Again.

>Again.
yeah i agree, all the freedesktop/redhat stuff is bullshit

yet its forced on its users

You do know that FreeBSD can push 5-6Mpps, while Linux struggles to get to 1Mpps? We're talking non-userland here.

If it would be true, no one would use Linux especially Google, but it's the other way and networking on Linux was always the most advanced and supported first many features first.

hahahahahahahaha

Quality post.

You are aware that over a third of the internet traffic comes from FreeBSD, and even more goes through it?

Let me point you to some things so that you can educate yourself a bit.

Netflix uses FreeBSD in all of their CDNs, pushing around 90Gbps from each machine every day. Limelight pushes all it's traffic through FreeBSD. Juniper, while having inside NIC forwarding, the OS running on top if it is Junos, also known as FreeBSD which they made into a FIPS compliant firmware product.

There's more, inexpensive routers, such as netgate, run FreeBSD. There's a reason NASA chose it for their HPC aswell. It's because it outperforms Linux on ridiculous levels.

Google uses Linux because it started with Linux and all it's services work on Linux.

Linux isn't shit, it's far from it. It's just a joke in comparison to FreeBSD when it comes to networking.
