Requests are way too expensive in terms of buffer to make it worthwhile or even viable from a convenience factor. I may as well just start buying music off beatport at that point.
Try it yourself. Grab foobar, plus the ABX plugin, then transcode a various flac release to 320 and v0. I guarantee you won't pass the ABX. If you do, I'll seriously paypal you $20.
I say this as someone who has spent thousands on monitoring equipment and actually has the ears to pick out this stuff since I make electronic music for a living.

Spotify is for plebs, can't rip songs from that. I use Google Music Play + gmusicproxy. I just pay the $10 a month and I can grab everything I want in 320k. If you make 90mb requests for 320s I will fill them. If you want an EP or an album you will need to put in more than that. If you can't afford that much buffer you are doing it wrong. Especially on the pooloo, I'm not on that tracker but racking up shit tons of buffer and using it for requests there should be easy.

I actually never thought about just ripping tracks from google play because I always assumed it was a shit 128k stream source. But from what I'm reading, google play allows you to rip untouched 320 tracks with a subscription.
