I hope you don't leave these on your laptop, user. Why do normies never remove them? do they think they'll void the warrant?
I hope you don't leave these on your laptop, user. Why do normies never remove them...
I always remove everything but the CPU one.
why? you know already that there's intel inside
It brakes the originality user, thats why i never remove protective film on it too.
>his computer came with stickrs
Macs don't have this problem.
I like stickers. They make the computer run faster.
It's for aesthetics, like those people who put bumper stickers on their cars.
Also, removing stickers that have been on for a long time is a bitch. They leave residue on the case and the color of the case may not be uniform.
But others dont.
I honestly like the cpu logo stickers, they add aesthetic. In rare cases they are badly l positioned, so I remove them
I didn't care that much when I bought it. (Still don't) But if I remove it now it would feel weird because I'm used to it.
I hate stickers. OP is not a faggot.
They are far worse
You better add some cool sticker then!
I want everyone to know that I use AMD and don't support Intel or Nvidia
I had to send back my XPS 13 for repait. (Dell fucked up bad)
The fixed the laptop and most importantly re-attached the Ubuntu sticker...
Fucking kidding me, it took them over 1 month to repair my device and they put the sticker on it again. Niggers.
...
I bet you use blue LEDs inside your computer to help keep it cooler
>buying the most aesthetical pleasing computers
>ruin them with shitty stickers
reminds me of people who put fugly cases to their phones
OP got a laptop for Christmas and removed the stickers and now regrets it and made this thread.
Cases make logical sense.
Stickers provide no protection other then the surface the stickers occupy. Don't forget the persistent sticker residue on your machine after you decide to remove it.
I've asked my normie friends before why they do not take the stickers off and they can't ansnwer me, they don't know why.
But I want everyone to know that I'm veget... wait no...
vegan!! Yes and that I support am..any...animal.. PETA! Yes, I also support PETA.
I know cases make logical sense (even though I use phones naked), what I mean is buying a phone known for aesthetics and thinness and putting the most abhorrent, ugliest, fattest case out there, instead of some elegant case
>Macs
>aesthetically pleasing
let me guess, you think a thinkpad is the pinacle of design, right?
No, but modern Macs are certainly not aesthetically pleasing.
For a non-niche market thing that's built to last, yes.
this image gave me cancer
I never remove them.
Decreases resell value of the laptop.
I always replace them with old cool ones.
I don't have a suitable reaction image on this computer, but you're a fucking retard.
I put case badges on my desktop all the time. They activate a passive effect which makes the computer perform faster.
Macs feel horrible to use
This.
The huge glowing "i suck cocks" logo is by far the cringiest shit you could have on a laptop, though Razer is a close second.
...
How is some slimmed shit aesthetically pleasing?!
the downside of that is having to use a mac
Normies don't care. They just work.
I don't. If the Thinkpad and Lenovo logos weren't embossed into my laptop's case, I'd remove those too.
>tfw nobody makes a modern CR-48
not a single sticker, logo or any text on the visible surfaces
not on the bottom
the only place theres text is on the inside or on the back of the battery
imagine that sexy machine but with anything other than an Atom n455 and 2gb of ddr3
Removing the Intel sticker activates the CPU code to reduce performance until its reapplied.
>Amiga sticker on a Macbook
that looks kinda cool, would probably do something like that on mine if i didn't like it with nothing on it
also factory stickers are shit, they always leave residue when you remove them
It's the only girlfriend he'll ever have.
>Why do normies never remove them?
They're not raging autists. They don't give a shit. People also think they'll leave sticky residue behind and stuff.
how can you miss spell excellent with horrible?
>t. mactoddler
Who even gives a flying fuck you fucking autist it's just a pair of stickers. Why would you even go through the process of removing them in the first place if they don't even get in the way.
Kill yourself.
>getting this triggered
who's the real autist?
>not having the cool mental illness that makes you feel at home, like you belong, here
>not leaping onto whatever bandwagon other illness-ridden subhumans deem appropriate so you can sneer at everyone outside your safe space
ha ha repeating numbers. keke wills it lol
I would remove the ones from my thinkpad, but then it would literally trigger my OCD when I think about how I wouldn't know what to do with them after they've been taken off
I don't have it in me to throw it away
Aren't you edgy and cool.
underrated post
Macfags are just as bad, I see them take their new macbooks out of their bags and then take out the foam liner between the screen and keyboard.
They saved the packaging from the retail box because they honestly believe the laptop will scratch itself.
What a premium experience.
No, the track pad is absolute shit, even compared to a lenovo yoga
>they honestly believe the laptop will scratch itself
I'd say they're seasoned Apple users. That would literally happen in the Powerbook G3, you either used a piece of cloth or foam to prevent the keyboard from scratching the screen.
Nah, looks way too much like a Macbook, complete with island keys.
I removed a larger one with the configuration, but kept three small ones: Intel, Nvidia and Windows7. I like them (: Especially the Intel ones are great, they shine in light :3
Disgusting.
Probably uses FrostWire, plays Facebook games, and has 6 months of undeleted cookies and web history.
no I actually put them on
>powered by Seasonic
>Intel inside
>speed demon
>G skill premium memory
>Nvidia G sync Monitor
Cuck detected
I like them :)
theyre
A E S T H E T I C
>implying this is not aesthetically pleasant
those are status symbols for your laptop, leave them on there you troglodyte
>Fucking hottttt
>s
Ruined
>Lenovo
no
I see this shit all the time around campuses. People trying to show personality, but it feels tacked on and lame.
...
Nice reference
Oh I see, you like them with bulge?
I always remove them. The worst are the normies that leave screen protection films or replace the little plastic or cellulose films between the screen and keyboard everytime they close the lid.
How would you install windows if you remove the sticker for it and for the control parts unit?
I only take them off if they are not parallel to the laptop edges.
The worst is when they leave the whole spec sticker on there. You know the ones that are on the display models.
Makes me cringe.
So how do I remove them without leaving any residue?
>being this autistic
Just fucking kill yourself.
>implying
Too much Doom3.
What laptop is that
Looks kawaii as fuck
This only happens on Windows machines.
I replaced the lenovo thinkpad logo on my x200 with an IBM sticker.
but they add style, girls like em
shows off my power level
gotta make it look fresh off the shelve. ya dummy.
Whats wrong with frostwire?
Probably because they don't give a shit that they're there.
How should I then remember what drivers I need to download on windows install?
Everyone else needs to know that my sleek then ultrabook is using a Core m3
They are shiny
Cause it'll leave a mark regardless. Also they look nice. Aside from those that have support numbers on.
>le cake is le lie! :3
what does the thinkvantage button do
It pauses the system at boot so that you can select a boot option more easily. I installed libreboot on my x200 though, so it doesn't do that anymore.
>people own laptops
>repait
I haven't heard this used before, could you please explain what happened?
>you own a tablet or use your phone for mobile computing needs
if you remove your case badges hows your gf going to know what to buy you for your birthday?
>literally opening the box
Lmao fags
>leaving your basement
Faggot.
there should be a law that states that if a company adds a sticker to its product which can/needs to be removed, it should be easy to remove and leave no residue at all
