un plug the ram and try to run it with one stick at a time also remove all usb devices and see if that works if your motherboard has a bios switch set it to the second bank.

some boards have a switch that if the system is opened you can set it to go into a lock down mode making the tamper obvious

I was able to get into the BIOS using that little small jumper thing then I save settings in BIOS but it went right back to the American megatrends error screen
