not really an option my niggas as the site in question has a detailed side by side comparison of certain specific laptop models that i cant seem to find somewhere else.
i disabled the adblock now but yes ofcourse i wont visit/recommend this site to anyone else.

That's the point of a "good" ad-blocker though, the code is never run or even received. Less bandwidth, cpu power, more security etc.

Write them a a complain that your wide-spectrum blocker is incorrectly being detected as an ad blocker.

Ban auto-loading videos, force auto-mute, and don't place ads where the real content is located and try to pull one over on the reader by slipping in a small, low contrast "paid content" label next to it.
Ad blockers exist because the advertising became obnoxious (and potentially costly with data rates and all the videos popping into the pages)
