Ayyy, I really like that, actually. The monitor setup is pretty great.

You know they've done studies that say that standing desks are actually worse than sitting?

Thanks m8. Im a little proud of the monitor setup myself

>I can't help but love the cable management. Don't you have your PC in another room?

Yes, I drilled a hole through the wall. I can't even hear my AMD Radeon RX 480 reference cooler while playing games when my door is closed :D

I have digitized my receipts, so the prices below is exactly how much they costed when I bought them.

>Computer
I looked over my receipts and what the actual fuck? The cost of my computer is 9984 SEK (1096 USD as of right now). Mind you, it's 25% VAT here in Sweden and prices are still outrageous even if you remove that. (computer case, motherboard, ram, CPU, CPU cooler, ssd, two hdd, rgb led strip and graphics card).

Fuck yea da B's/10

Cozy looking.

Clean setup, but now you need a gun.

About to redo my room, wood floor, new paint and ceiling fixtures.

>Clean setup, but now you need a gun.

I wish. Even my tiny CRKT Pazoda 2 folding knife is illegal as fuck here in Sweden and I would get arrested if the police finds it while frisking me in public.

Wow, I'm truly sorry user.

6/10 not weeb enough

>this is my spare bedroom/storage room/office/server room.

in picture, going from left to right:

vive vr box

shelf full of controllers/wires/gadgets/batteries/etc

my 'retro' cart with nes, snes, n64, sega genesis+cd+32x, all with everdrives. also jap n64 with 64dd all connected to a 27 inch sony trintron with s-video and component. (i have dragged it around over 2000 miles here and there, and still have the remote.)

right shelf has a sony pvm and a dell ultrasharp monitor. (the pvm has svideo and i really like the snes/n64 on it.) behind the monitor are two out of site PCs, one is a server and the other is my serious business machine. the visible pc on the far right is a literally just full of hdd bays with 18 tb of backups.

far right is my modern console rig with a korea LED tv. consoles are stacked and hard to see but everything is zip tied to the cart. ps4, ps3, pstv, hacked ps2, xbox one, xbox 360, hacked wii, dreamcast, gamecube with gbp, extra n64 connected via framemiester. sometimes

I usually pull the carts out to the living room to play, usually never in the office. I can sit them side by side and run the retro consoles thru a framemeister to hdmi on the led. I can also connect either cart's outputs up to my living room projector+receiver for surround. have 144 inch wall for screen.

does anyone know where i can get a decent desk? i have an old shitty ikea one that i got like 6 years ago. or at least a good place that sells that as a starting point?

Love those keycaps.

That's looking really nice. I like the blue lights on the keyboard and the wallpapers contrasting with the rest.

Looking forward to the changes! Wood floors specially makes everything extra comfy.

Don't really want to go digging for receipts and converting currencies, specially because pretty much everything was bought on different places and some of it imported, but I included the specs on the pictures.

Is that a Define R5?
I moved my PC into a Define S last night.
It's fucking wonderful.

Lovely keycaps user.
Nice lighting too.

Is that chair as overrated as it looks because it's fucking expensive. How is it any different from other chairs?

Looks wonderful user. Can't wait to see what you do with the room.

I recall you mentioning not wanting do add speccy to the pic in the last thread. This was an elegant solution, looks trucking wonderful without sacrificing any space for a speccy panel.

Still love your room.

First time /BST/ poster here, I think mine well qualified for the lowest budget worst looking battlestation ever

Same shit different day.

You have a 3D printer but can't get a decent monitor? What is wrong with you.

I need a new keyboard tbqhwyf

You have M50x and a 3D printer
That's far from the worst I've seen

I love my M50x

Comfy
>meme expensive chair
Is it worth it user?

Oh NO

Well, it's a decent TV (1080p with almost all kinds of ports) I got gratis, so I can't complain, If it's not broken don't fix it I guess
Also I don't care much since the computer hooked up to that TV is a laptop with a semi decent dedicated GPU (novideo 610m, good for some basic 3D modelling) and all I do is 3D modeling and some coding

PIC related is my commodore setup for some internet points

I used to spend a lot of time sitting so I got this chair, was worth it then. Don't use it so much these days but still better than other options out there.

Where do you get that kind of desk from? I assume those wood panels are removable. Looks very svelte, but a bit empty for my taste.

Give me dat h8 my shit is garbage

It's a discontinued Herman Miller Airia. I got it so I could stuff an MITX system inside. Found it used on local classifieds.

Pic related shows the panels do come off. I crammed a tonne of shit inside haha.

It is indeed an R5. I love it so far, so I'll likely be using it for quite a few future builds.

My only gripe is my SSD doesn't fit in the SSD rack behind the motherboard. I've got plenty of space over in the HDD rack, so it's not a problem, but it sure as hell is annoying.

What the hell is up with your case? Looks like an IBM ThinkCentre with a hard drive cage held to the top with electrical tape.

Not too far off. It's actually and IBM eServer case with the drive covers missing and the front door broken off.

The hard drives are just mounted in the 3.5 slots, with all the extra cables from my non-modular power supply jammed into the 5.25 slots since I don't use a disc drive. Got the case for free a few years ago and it was in much better shape but after 3 moves to 2 different states it's almost had it.

I'm slowly upgrading my computer and it needs a new GPU before it needs a new case.

Do you know that they're done studies that say that reading studies are bad for you?

user, get your shit off of the carpet.

Simple

I like this, alot. Minus the lighting.

Who here has an over under setup where they have a huge tv above their computer? I live alone in a smaller apartment and am thinking about going this route. It would make streaming to twitch so much easier having an additional 60" of viewing space.

Ive already got all of the hardware required, minus some conduit to hide the wires. My worry is this just looking retarded in the middle of my living room.

What is this chair called?

Like the iPad holder

i dont buy shit from them. only really really big mousepads that i cant find anywhere else
wouldn't call £20 a ripoff

The AT2020 is mounted on the mic boom, but i literally just got it and havnt gotten a shock mount for it yet. The pop filter just came in yesterday.

a+ cable management, but using a tv as a monitor is a shit idea. refresh and latency is bad.

nigger what are you doing with retail display furniture
so what do you do with that setup? whats your job?
it looks comfy user, sometimes i wish i had something like that for reasons, but $$$/return isn't there for me, I may get a RPI just to play around with them making a retropie.
Love it. What do you record? Do you do radio?
Very clean, on your EDC, what kind of comments do you receive on your watch? Is that an RFID wallet?
Are you in the military? Do they just let you walk out of work with their gear? Or did you buy that on ebay?
That lighting would drive me insane, how do you type on a backlit keyboard when it's dark?
What's the small sony CRT in the middle for?
Cool
I think we all want to see your ass user
What are you studying, also quit the video games, you'll do better in school.
Carpet? In 'straya? Extra points for sparkling water.
Is that a meme mouse?
So what have you made?
Visually good, looks uncomfortable as hell for real use
Oh god, yes you do.
Need wallpaper on the right, reasons
Quit taking vitamins, its a scam
Is that picture curved or are you putting a lot of weight on your desk?
I'm moving in and cuddling with your ass user, I'd even suck yo dick, nothing gay about it.
That room gives me ADHD
What does he work on?
Gorilla arms with the ipad?
That hurts my neck to look at.
That looks very comfy
Do you actually use that lighting as is?
Very nice. Do you do youtube videos as well?

Not yet. Its something id like to do, but i dont really have anything interesting to upload, and the volume of other youtubers is somewhat overwheming.

Find a niche, do videos on that niche. Something you like that is unique. Look at techmoan he gained his following by focusing on single purpose cameras, I think he gets a good amount of respect for that. Also, if you're going to do it, do it for you as a hobby, the money isn't there and if it is, it will find you if you're good.
