Ubuntu 12.04
No. Ubuntu is botnet and I am an archfag now
Redhat in 96 switched to Slackware when Redhat went enterprise.
Knoppix
No, not even certain it's still around desu
My first distro was Ubuntu 6.06. I haven't used Ubuntu recently.
Corel linux
Debian. I'm using it now, and I've always came back to it when Ubuntu sickened me and something was wrong with my leet desktop.
>first
Ubuntu 12.04
>Used recently?
No. I'm on 14.04.
That's still ubuntu
Trisquel
No I use LFS now
fedora first and no im on gentoo now
Linux Mint
Currently on openSUSE Tumbleweed after sticking to *buntus for a long time. I checked Mint out again recently just to see how it is, but I can't be bothered. The only appeal to Mint is Cinnamon, and you can get that on other distros.
Ubuntu 11.10 first.
Arch/Debian/Gentoo now.
(your) pic related, around 20 years ago.
But no, I haven't used it recently. After moving to Gentoo, then Arch, then Fedora, and finally OpenSUSE tumbleweed, I think I've landed.
It's rolling release, but they automate package testing with OpenQA prior to cutting builds. The end result: recent packages with fewer breakages.
I think Fedora is using OpenQA for testing now too, actually.
Ubuntu. Not really super recently. I think I last used it as a liveusb to do some sort of repair job on a computer.
before Ubuntu 10.04
now Linux Mint 18 KDE
slackware was the first linux i installed in like 1996, it was the only distro I think
I started with ubuntu 12.02, which i used for 3 years
it was shite so I installed debian
it was less shite but I needed a challenge/speed so I installed arch, which I used for 2 years
i realized i didn't want to update every freaking day so i installed manjaro
i realized i was autistic for installing manjaro so i installed fedora, used that for another year
fedora had like zero packages, so i installed ubuntu again
got bored, also hated canonical, wanted a new challenge, so I installed FreeBSD
fucking comfy AF, but webcam support was comical
installed debian last night. webcam works out of the box.
i'm tired of OS surfing, i just wanna get shit done
My first Distro was Linux Mint 17.3. Then I later used Ubuntu for awhile and finally settled on Xubuntu. Although I kind of stopped using Linux.
Also the only thing I find Linux good for is if you want to do banking or something if you're paranoid about privacy thing or if you visit a lot of shady sites and watch a lot of porn because your autism makes you susceptible malware. Desktop Linux is garbage. But for servers it's good stuff.
Ubuntu 8.04
Currently got 16.04 LTS on my wife's laptop, and Fedora 25 on my desktop.
Turbo Linux, and fuck no. They suck.
Microsoft™ Windows©™ is for you.
Some weird ass "Freewin 2004" live-CD distro my father found at a friend's house. I only used it for fixing giant disk-related fuckups tho. My first real distro that I used as an operating system was Xubuntu 6.10 because it ran a lot better than Windows on my Celeron 800. Now I'm using Arch Linux.
2012+3=2015
2015+2=2017
2017+1=2018
2018 + change?
Am I missing something or are you just overexaggerating your time spent with each distro?
Slax, I just tried it out again a few months ago. It's a pity the site dropped the custom ISO creator, that was neat as fuck.
My first distribution was an Ubuntu, I don`t know which version anymore. Now I use some distributions on some devices, e. g. on my router, Ubuntu is no one of these.
suse
no
first was Ubuntu 11.04 I think, but I didn't use it much. I tried Mint but it was shit, then installed Manjaro which was my favorite distro but it had some flaws th at made me want to try Fedora, and my friend convinced me to trying GNOME. GNOME turned out to be so shit I just went back to Windows 7. I might go back to Manjaro if they will make a decent music player / library manager for GNU/Linux
Debian Etch first
Fedora 25 now
Ubuntu
Recently went back to Windows 10 because Xorg fucking sucks and I am bored, want to play gaymes.
