How much would jamming one of these in an empty PCI-e slot improve gaymen performance?

How much would jamming one of these in an empty PCI-e slot improve gaymen performance?

yes

Not at all since the games would need to be re-programmed to take advantage of Xeon Phi.

It doesn't even have a display output, are you retarded?

Could you repeat the question?

yeah, did wonders to my game of life performance once i've rewritten it to take full advantage of ot

Neither does your RAM, re-re.

>muh "blower fan is trash"
>used on high-end coprocessors for real computing

Exactly 0. (It might even make performance worse in the rare case where PCI-E bandwidth is the bottleneck)

this is only more ammo against the "16gb is the new standard" memers.

It is, thanks to Witcher 3.
If you don't play that game you're more than fine with 8GB for now.

"""""Real computing"""""

"Copro" cessor.

I play it with 6GB

>tfw want one but x86-only drivers
Maybe I'll just get a better APU instead and have a Xeon Phi in my only PCIe slot

Runs fine for me with 7GB.
2+2+2+1GB.

must be stuttering like shit

Nope it runs fine.
That's why I don't understand the 16GB meme.
Even Battlefield 1 runs great.
i7 950
6GB
1060 3GB

Maybe in 720p

YOU'RE NOT THE BOSS OF ME NOW

1080p 60fps
BF1 goes up to 90fps according to the fps counter.

Intel drivers have already proven to clip my download speed to 1.8mbs out of 10mbs. So no.

>"16gb is the new standard"

For Windows 7 Home Premium.

Why would resolution affect cpu/ram performance?

>1080p 60fps
>BF1 goes up to 90fps according to the fps counter.
Every time people make claims like this it turns out they have everything set to low with no AA.

Are you serious?

Resolution affects GPU performance, not CPU you idiot.

My 8350 and fury play that game just fine at 1080p60 on ultra with hairworks on limited to 4x tessellation. And I only have 8gb ddr3 1600.

Checkmate atheists.
